Java Lava Coffee Shops

We recently used Java Lava Catering for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party (Aug 2016). They did an awesome job! When I first contacted them I left a message and the owner (Fran) called me back within 30 minutes. When my sister and I wanted to set up a tasting Fran was very accommodating and worked around our schedules. He also was present at the tasting and gave us lots of suggestions. He even offered to coordinate the order of chairs for the party since our venue didn't provide them. In addition, the prices he provides includes china, silverware, glasses, and linens. (The other caterers we contacted wanted to charge extra for that.) Throughout the planning process he stayed in contact with me and followed up on everything. In addition, when I ran into an issue with the venue giving me a hard time about having current licensing, Fran followed up with them immediately and resolved the situation. The day of the party he showed up exactly when he said he would and he was present throughout the entire party. His staff worked quickly to set up and I didn't have to do anything with it, which freed up my time to focus on other items that needed my attention. We had some guests that showed up very late which through off our timeline a bit, but Fran was very accommodating. The food they served was wonderful and we received a lot of compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the food. We had a cake for the event that came from a baker. Even though it wasn't provided by Java Lava, Fran provided cake plates, a very nice cake knife and server for my parents to use to cut their slice together, and then he had his staff do the cake cutting for the rest of the guests. From the moment I first contacted Java Lava to final step of clean up after the party, Fran and his team at Java Lava were a pleasure to work with and I will use them for any other events I ever need catering for. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer!
