The staff are always so so friendly and remember their regulars! The food is absolutely delicious and the restaurant always comes up in conversation when people want recommendations for good Indian. Great prices too.

Fantastic food, best Indian I’ve ever tasted & the Naan was crispy and so tasty. Cooked in a tandoori oven so a very genuine Indian meal.

Amazing food, lamb in the Saag was very tender and flavourful, kadai paneer was also super good. Plus they had gluten free naan! I think made with chickpea flour? I've never seen gluten free naan anywhere. Delicious. Lovely service. Thank you 😀

We've had both delivery and tonight we picked up and both were to the same excellent standard.
The place is spotless and we love how you can watch the bread being made .
There are 7 in our house and everyone loved their choices .

Cute place. Got the lunch combo (curry, rice, naan, and drink) for $16. Extremely good and delicious food for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lady in the kitchen was making the naan bread from scratch fresh which was really refreshing to see. Will certainly be back!

Hi everyone, highly recommend lunch special (11.00-2.00 any day including wkends) at Mumbai Chef in Orewa. Fantastic choice of yummy curries and naan bread for 12 bucks! Wonderful service & friendly owner with his wife.
