The Mongolian Beef and the hot and sour soup are both really very good here. Both are bigger portions and not too expensive. Some of the other stuff on the menu hasn’t been wonderful/memorable, so be careful what you order!

Oak Tree is one of the few To Go places that offer a genuine Mandrin flavor for a fraction of the price. The plates are hearty and the folks that work there are genuine. I used to order twice a week before the pandemic and was happy to indulge my whole failmy with their garlic chicken, Mongolian beef and side a furry with some shrimp fried rice. I've been back a few times since and they're still the same great people serving the best food around. The off chance the order has an issue they correct it immediately. It's my choice for Chinese!

Ordered via Seamless. Pan fried chicken dumplings appetizer was okay. General Rao's chicken wasn't really what I was expecting. I just moved here from NYC and have had it quite a few times there. It was okay, but definitely not as great as I was wishing for. The Kung Pao Combo was amazing! The rice sides and the fried rice were all good. I would have liked a bit more variety on the sauces, rather than so many packets of soy sauce. Overall, lot of food for good price, and lasted me around 6 full meals, so quite happy about that.

Best Chinese food in OC, it’s too bad some people didn’t have the same experience. I’ve been ordering for the last two years and it’s phenomenal. The generals chicken, honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken amazing!!

Amazing Chinese food!!!! Highly recommend! We had it delivered to our hotel room & it was so hot & fresh & AMAZING!!!! It was delivered on time also & the kids loved it too. The hotel we were staying at recommended it to us & I'm so glad! We will definitely eat here again next time we are in town! Thank you Oak Tree for our amazing dinner!

This food was real, unlike the very seasoned fast food Americans are used to. The gentleman that took my order was very friendly and welcoming. The food was deliciously filling. Best orange chicken, especially because theirs had chillies and green onions.

Just tried this place for the first time. I honestly don't understand the bad reviews, unless they are from competing restaurants. The gentleman who took my order was very friendly, and even gave us a complementary order of fried wontons! He told me the order would arrive 40 to 50 mins. It was here in 39 mins. The food is hot and quite delish! The chocolate cake is AWESOME! The fish is cooked to perfection. The order is complete even a few extra yummy sauces to taste. I will have my new favorite place on speed dial! Honestly one of my top delivery experiences.

Got it delivered, first time. Was great take out. Orange chicken had good kick to it but the beef, mushroom, and asparagus was amazing. Super tender beef. I'd recommend.

I have no idea why there are so many bad reviews. I LOVE their food. He went above and beyond and specially made me garlic shrimp that was spicy because I was having a rough day and it was hot and delicious! All of their food is always so fresh and hot and tastes amazing. I feel bad for those who had bad experiences. But please give this a try! You won't regret it I promise!

I love oak tree! I never used their delivery service but for 6 months straight I had the Kung Pao Chicken bowl special. Ugh! So good! The chicken comes shredded with amazing sauce and rice! The meal comes with a canned soda and a cookie. Only $6.50! I'm sad they changed their hours to not include lunch anymore! Super good food though!
