Village Inn

Whoever manages this location needs a pat on their back and a Thank You. The design of the building isn't one like I've seen before. Looks updated, clean, and welcoming. Upon entry, I was immediately greeted and seated. The table, menu, and seating were all clean. Upon seating I was immediately asked what beverage I wanted. I was given a few minutes to decide what to eat. I loved the immediate service. The wait time was appropriate for the food arrival. The food was perfect. Nothing was too greasy, undercooked, or overdone. The toast was outstanding. It's just toast, but this toast was done right. The pancakes were excellent, and the eggs (scrambled) were marvelous. Usually either too runny or overcooked. The other items were also perfectly done. The wait staff were pleasant and made conversation with the regulars (I assume they were regulars when they refer to them by name and ask how the family is, and their holiday plans). At the end of the meal upon settling check the cashier was busy, so another wait staff member came to assist. This was the first Village Inn that I've been to that "waiting" was not an issue and things were correct. I will be back again.

Haven't been here in years, but I'm glad to give it another try. The food was great, everything tasted delicious and the price was very reasonable. Very comparable to any other popular breakfast restaurants in the area, which is a huge improvement for Village Inn. Our server, Zoe, was also amazing. Even after working all day, she was really friendly, quick to help us, always had a smile, and helped us have a relaxing dinner. We will be back.

We hit VI for a Sunday morning daddy/daughter date. Despite getting there mid-rush (930-1000ish), they were able to queue and then seat us in under 10 minutes. Service was quick and friendly. Food was hot and accurate. Love that their kid's menu comes with a full set of crayons instead of 2 nubby colors that no one wants. Restaurant was clean and bright. Restrooms were kept well and smelled like cleaning product, which is optimal.

Just came from a visitation, so passing through on way home. We had excellent meal, chicken strips, turkey dinner, and burger and fries. Definitely would order these again. Our server was terrific. Even though the Inn was out of diet soda she apologized and I ordered a substitute. Very homely feeling. Clean and well lit. Good parking.
