Nathan's Famous

I've had Nathan's before and this was NOT the standard that Nathan's is known for. The service was horrendous and the food was so disgusting that I'm calling in health inspectors. The hot dog was not even cooked, the fries were brown like the oil they were cooked in was old. The employees there were the worst part though. The man at the register was Esper and I didn't get the females name. The place itself was dirty and no one that was working there was cleaning anything. Every table was a mess. I'd just keep going on to another stop. I visited January 7, 2020 at 3:01pm.

The employees are rude and scary. Don’t know if management ever checks these reviews (if so, we visited 11-13 at about 11:30 am). Some customer service training or finding new employees would definitely help! There were two employees working when we arrived. It took 18 minutes to get a sandwich & salad (for take away). We were on the road and hadn’t planned to be there long term. Problem was, we ordered a wrap, not a salad! When the guy handed me the salad he walked away immediately. The place wasn’t busy. I politely said “Excuse me, sir. Sorry about this but we ordered a wrap.” He gave me a dirty look and walked away again. Then he came back to the counter and argued with me that I did order a salad. He was so rude (and soon angry it was scary). The lady working was also dismissive and rude. Another 10 minute wait and we had the wrap we’d originally ordered. NOT ideal when you’re on a road trip. The wrap was inedible and we ended up throwing it out. This restaurant is in a food court in a turnpike rest stop so I suppose they don’t worry about return business or the reputation of the place. If you find yourself here, go to another spot in the food court!

I wish there was an option to leave zero stars. I show up about five mins to seven and as I’m walking up, they turn off the lights. That was the female worker. The male worker proceeds to tell me, we close at 7.... I’m like sir its not seven. The worker proceeds to tell me, we are closed, it’s just the two of us. So I have to eat at another establishment, sit down with my food and see another new person. I walk over and ask if he is the manager.... he states he is, I proceed to explain.... all I get is a thank you. I now see why their ratings are terrible. Don’t stop here!!
