Epic Wings

This is literally the best Epic Wings (Wings n things?) location! I love closer to another one, but I go to this one because their food is THE BEST. Whoever is the cook needs a raise/promotion. They literally make the best food! I always order the buffalo fries and they’re always LOADED. They have a very generous amount of sauce, cheese, and chicken. I have also added extra chicken (extra cost, of course) and can always tell that they definitely added extra chicken. In comparison, when I have ordered from the other location, I have often gotten dry fries. Barely any sauce, a pinch of cheese, and such little chicken (even when I have asked for and paid for more). Their customer service is TERRIBLE and they refuse to give me more than one ranch. This location on the other hand is always amazing in both their food and customer service. This location has my business from now on and I won’t ever go back to the other location. I’ll definitely tell my friends to go here instead as well. I attached a photo, but I’d already started eating haha.

We stopped by for lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The place was not crowded at all Alf they said the wings would be out in 15 mins. Fast forward an hour later and we still had not gotten our food. The clerk just kept saying they were backed up but there’s no one at the restaurant. The only thing Epic about this place was their wait !

We have never been and when it was our turn to order we didn’t know and it took like 10sec to have the cashier notice that we have never seen the menu so she just walked away and didn’t come out till there were 3 other customers. Once we placed our order she said it will be around 38 minutes, which I believe it was our fault for not asking but they should tell the customer before hand. Other then that pretty interesting small location and there was another worker who was very polite and helpful got the other girl to come out and help us.

Worst customer service. If you want to eat here don’t, they will rush you after they took an hour for the food to be ready mind you it wasn’t busy and when it was ready they told us they are closed and expected take it home after we waited so long for our food. Once we checked our food, we noticed the order was wrong, so talked to the Cashier Daniella about the issue and told us they can’t make our food because they ran out of everything and just brushed her shoulder. She was so rude. So, we asked to talked to a manager and they said they don’t have one NOR can they give us the number to talk to anyone regarding this issue. But I was surprised that they can take another order after they told us they ran out OF EVERYTHING. Sad to see this place has no customers service like it used to.

This Epic Wings location is terrible and can easily be considered the worst one in San Diego County. Each time I've been here, the staff has not been happy to take customer's orders, the food is lacking in flavor and quality. The chicken is dry, over-breaded and miniature compared to any other Epic Wings location. The carrots were dehydrated and tasted old. The breadsticks were over cooked... the list goes on. On this most recent visit (04/18/2020) to pick up an order to go, I was greeted by an overpowering smell of burned oil and smoke consuming the entire dining room. The staff again seemed bothered by customers and I can easily say I will never return to this specific location. They should take their name down, hire a new manager, and start fresh because this is in no way, a real Epic Wings (Wings-N-Things) in their current state.
