Gator's Dockside

Michelle H was quick to come outside and take our order, and didn’t bat an eye when we decided it was too cold to stay outside and came in! She was friendly, knowledgeable, quick to respond and friendly! What a great person to make us feel we were the best customers there! Great salads. No issue w orders, and our (weird) drink order came out great! Not our first time here. Definitely we’ll be back!

So I come to Gator's Dockside almost every weekend. I like the laid back vibe, the great food, and the great service. One server in particular has stood out above the rest, and that is Ken. He is friendly, and attentive. He works very hard to make sure his customers have everything they need and if there is ever any issue, he is "johnny on the spot" to fix the problem. He is very knowledgable about the menu items as well. Would recommend Gator's Dockside and Ken for anyone looking for great food and great service under one roof!

We had a great meal and even better service! Chardae was our waitress and she was exceptional! I have not received such great service in a very long time. She was sweet, kind, attentive, funny and a great worker!! 10 out of 10 experience with her!!!! If you’re grabbing a bite to eat be sure to ask for her. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

Our family was in Ocala for a wedding. Gators was near our hotel. We stopped in on Monday afternoon of 11/13 and was seated quickly. The hostess said they were short staffed because Mondays are usually slow and they had a couple of larger groups come in. I appreciated her honesty. I don’t remember the name of our server but she was awesome. I would have never known they were short staffed by her outstanding service. Five stars for service, food and prices. We will definitely stop in when visiting Ocala again.

Michelle H. is an amazing server! Stopped in for dinner, drinks and football- you made our night! Your service is outstanding. Amanda was amazing! She consistently made sure that our needs were met while providing excellent customer service. She took the time to answer the many menu questions we had and because she actively listened, she found that we are new to the area and gave us some great recommendations for fun things to do in the area. As a hospitality manager, I recognized her ability to drive sales while staying engaged with the guest and I was very impressed. We look forward to our next visit!

Michelle H was a great server! Very attentive to all her tables. I ordered boneless wings with flavors but the kitchen was stingy with it but Michelle brought me out a container quickly and made it all better! Dry rub ribs were also light on the seasoning tonight. The Ranch dressing could be thicker - I feel like I wore more than I ate. This place is always clean and service on point. There is enough background noise from TV or music to drowned out the people talking.
