Great spot for lunch. Quiet. Delicious choices. Nice view and environment. Gave us great recommendations for sushi rolls.

I have never had better miso soup and california roll.

I would go here for lunch during work and even a date night since the inside is so cute and the customer service was great!

Finally, a good neighborhood sashimi spot in the East Bay! Sure we have Kakui and Kotobuki but one's overpriced and the other is average at best. Iyasare's my go-to chirashi don and tempura, but now this is my go-to for sashimi.
We had dinner on a busy Saturday night the newly re-opened TGI Oni Sushi, and loved it so much I came back for lunch on Tuesday (photos from lunch). Fresh sashimi, good sized menu, reasonably priced, friendly staff. We had hamachi sashimi (5 pcs for $15), chawamushi, shishamo, saba shioyaki and complimentary miso soup. Hopefully they'll keep up these standards!
