Kroger

Store pickup was the worst experience ever. Half my items were out of stock. Too lazy to substitute. My total order amount was more than original and with 10 less items! Kroger pickup is false advertising and bait and switch. Also The store always has long lines. Most of the time only one self checkout is open. Maybe 1 or two registers with lines spanning into the aisles. Can’t find workers? Maybe you should pay your employees more? Maybe it’s how they are being treated. I will stick to food city.

I visited your store in Oak Ridge Tennessee today and bought several items including alcohol. I was asked for my ID and have no problem giving my ID For age verification purposes. But after it was presented and the cashier looked at it to verify my age they then scanned it before I could tell them not to I do not wish to have my data collected. I was not given the option for it not to be scanned or was it stated that it would be scanned. I asked the employee why they scanned it and it and they said oh it just makes it easier on us not to have to enter your birthday. I went to customer care But was unable to speak to any manager But the employee at the counter assured me that no data was collected or even retained or would it be shared or sold or added to any database. I do not believe this after reading kroger's policies I want to know what you do with the extra data on my driver's license such as address height weight color of my eyes if I'm an organ donor or not. This is not relevant to anything to my purchase. I never implied or explicitly gave kroger permission to obtain any of this information. I desire a statement telling me exactly what information is collected if it is retained and if so where and to whom it is shared. Large companies have data breaches regularly. And I want to know what has been done with my information. At minimum a person should be made aware that the license is being scanned and what is done with the information once obtained. I wasn't informed or given an option. If so I would not have allowed you to collect any extra data than was required by law for my purchase.

Kroger needs to have at least one register with a cashier open until they close. Period. No buts. Closing at 10pm is absolutely ridiculous as well. There are people who work late. If Kroger wants to send their business elsewhere, it's on them, because the place is usually quite busy at 10pm. If nothing else, stay open until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Not everyone goes to work at the crack of dawn. Not coming down at all on the guy who usually works nights, because he is epic! The rest, yes, not happy with at all.

This is getting ridiculous. Three days ago I came to Kroger to get stuff to make pizzas for the family. I opened the pepperonis and after eating two I noticed they had mold on them. The whole bag was molded. Today I came in for groceries for two weeks and when I got home I opened summer sausage to snack on and it was also extremely molded. Do NOT buy processed meat from this store. Two of us have already gotten sick. We will not be returning to Kroger after this. I have pictures of the molded meat for proof.

The market has an excellent interior, selection, environment, and location. Many everyday products like food, medicine, and entertainment are found here, and the entire store is very sanitary, orderly, neat, and organized. Staff are very kind and helpful when you need help with finding a product, working the self-checkout, etc. It will always be a store that will be first to come to mind when I need an appliance or food item.
