First time in this bar pre-drinks before a gig and the staff were friendly and cant complain about the drinks or prices really considering everything gas gone up.

Popped in on out walk back to our hotel. Great vibe and atmosphere. Cocktails were lush. Can't remember much else. Would definitely go there again.

We had a great night, the After Show Party for the New Model Army gig.The staff where a little bamboozled withe onslaught of fans. Slow service but we had top night until they threw us out at 2am🙄😁

One of the nice novelty bars in Nottingham is Spanky Van Dykes, centrally located in Nottingham and with a great list of craft beer from around the world as well as a good list of cocktails. There is also a a videogame corner and decent food. A nice haunt for a few pints.

The Mrs and I called in here the other night for a quick drink before going to watch the macabees at rock city. It's the first time we've been in felt a bit out of place as we're touching 50 and it was full of students but didn't get any funny looks lol lol. Beer was OK and great atmosphere and would recommend it for anybody going to a rock city gig for a drink before going to venue. Also found bar staff friendly and didn't have to wait to long to be served.

An all-round great place; good drinks, great food, and an amazing funky atmosphere!
I am such a huge fan of this place; the interior is super funky with loads of interesting posters plastered all over the walls and other quirky objects pinned about the place.
The nights they put on in the upstairs area have always been a great night, and the drinks are never as bad as you'd expect from a place like this.
The food is divine, especially their 2-4-1 burger offer on Tuesdays!
