La Taquiza

I hate disappearing reviews so let's do this again! La Taquiza is a family run restaurant and I believe they have 2 other locations. I frequent the Northbrook location as it's closer to our house. We have been coming here for many years and we always get good service and never had a bad experience with the employees. Now is it the best taco place in the world no, but it is a very solid place to grab a quick bite to eat at a reasonable price. We will continue to come here and my kids have started to enjoy it so many more years to come from our family.

Gross tacos that have no flavor. I walk in and the place smells like bleach. They couldn't explain their own menu so good luck getting an explanation. Asked them if lime was in the bag and they said yes. Guess what it wasn't there. This place is a joke. Taco dinners are worse than their order taking. The asada tacos were just salty and had no other taste. Go to another place.

Wow. That was the best burrito bowl I’ve ever had. This place is what Chipotle wishes it was. What they lack in indoor seating, they more than make up for with fresh ingredients and artistic presentation—which was no surprise with the influence of Frida Kahlo’s work prevalent on the walls. La Taquiza is an absolute gem and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

La comida mexicana mas sabrosa que he probado. They have amazing food that has always kept me coming back for years. They give you amazing portions for the price you pay. Not to mention great people working the counter, especially the lady who works in the back. You have to visit them si quieres comida tan sazonado y autentico.
