Checkers

I live about 2 hours away. I was in the area shopping and was so happy to see a checkers, it's my favorite fast food! We pulled in and were greeted by a nice person working the drive-thru. We ordered our food, which was a lot of food and still so affordable. The food was made quickly, and if was so fresh. I joked and said this is the only fast food restaurant where the food you order looks like the menu pictures, and it did. Thanks for a yummy meal. I wish I would have ordered more food to take home 🤣

When we went through the drive through we were immediately told "I'll be with you in several minutes" which was right, took about 10 minutes until they asked what our order would be. When getting to the window, they failed to close it fully and could hear basically every staff member complaining and asking to call the owner to shut the place down early cause they didn't want to finish working the day. Pretty sure they were understaffed, which to their benefit isn't ever easy, but it'd been nice if they didn't make it to where the customers saw and heard every little thing they did, said, or didn't do -- such as making sure an order is right.

Would give less than one star if I could. Worst experience ever. Order using a app, give them a number just so they can call if there is a problem. Show up just to find out that a 64 dollar order will not happen because they are closing early and I gotta go through the app to get a refund. Call the app after finally getting through to find out a transaction that took less Than 3 seconds to happen, will now take 3 to five business days to get refunded. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. if you're smart you will run away from this place
