Panda Buffet

Good variety of items to choose from. Food was hot & very tasty. Constantly checked items on buffet & kept them resupplied. Hot tea served in steeping tea pot. Very friendly staff and professional. All areas kept clean & wiped down. Handicap accessible and parking. Family friendly & large groups welcome as well as singles.

Buffet was not stocked. Poor selection and Food was old and room temperature. Only fresh food was fried rice. Even the Coca-Cola was bad. All syrup and no carbonation. We paid $44.50 for 4 people and were highly dissatisfied! Oh, and there's black mold covering a good portion of the wall in the dining area on the left side of the restaurant. I don't suggest anyone eat there! We won't ever go again!

All I can assume is that the other patrons of this establishment that left those glowing reviews, must not travel much and had no basis for comparison. This was by far the absolute worse Chinese buffet I've ever been to. My husband and I are OTR truck drivers and travel all over the country. We love Mississippi and have eaten at several great restaurants here. This was NOT one of them!! We arrived at 4:45 pm expecting the dinner buffet to be on the bar. It was undoubtedly the remains from lunch and a few items looked as if they'd been recycled from days prior. We had no time to stop again and were starving, so reluctantly picked the best of the worst to put on our plates. As I passed what was supposed to be a sushi bar I noticed what little sushi was there had flies landing on it. We've obviously not learned our lesson and should've immediately vacated the premises. But, again... Starving! What few items we found that looked edible were either bland, dry, overcooked, or just plain disgusting. Here's one of the few tips I've picked up from my many travels to Chinese buffets. If they do not offer fresh hot mustard, only packets, lower your expectations immediately. If you see the employees allowing their children to run wild and have full unsupervised access to the food, including the ice cream, ( I was holding out hope for the ice cream! 😞) It's most likely contaminated with everything they've touched throughout the entire day. Oh, and if there are few or no other vehicles in the parking lot, there's a reason!!! I can't even give the ambiance or service a compliment. Our hostess disappeared after seating us and only reappeared when she saw us heading to the door. We, of course, paid the bill in full seeing as we were the idiots that sat down and ate a few bites. But, NO tip and we always tip if even just the minimum. I'm honestly only trying to save the next hungry traveler from wasting their hard earned money and possibly acquiring food poisoning.
