Le Dynasty

Got some takeaway from Le Dynasty, a Vietnamese restaurant on Darby St. Bo Nuong - Barbecued Beef Beef Skewers served w/ Saté Sauce Super tender beef with a very rich and coconut creamy peanut sauce. Bo Luc Lac - Cubed Beef Beef Cubes Sautéed w/Pepper Sauce, served on a Bed of Lettuce & Tomato Once again very tender beef, good flavour, nice char, not peppery, but a bit salty. Tom Rim Thit - Pan Fried Pork & King Prawn Lean Pork & King Prawn Sauteed in Caramelising Fish Sauce & Black Pepper “A MUST” Juicy prawns, tender pork, unfortunately quite salty drowning out the flavour. Ga Xa Ot Lemongrass & Chilli Chicken Too salty again despite tender chicken. What a shame! I ate these dishes on their own and then with steamed white rice but the saltiness drowns out the flavours of the dish. The flavours are very mild and need more oomph. A peppery sauce and lemongrass are distinguishable flavours but I didn't taste it. Also got complimentary prawn crackers too.

✨😍 I cannot believe that I haven't eaten here before now!! Oh my goodness, the stuffed wing, the spring rolls & the salted squid - delectable! I shared these dishes with a friend and we left with full happy tummies. The lovely young lady that waited on us was so easy to chat with & offered lots of helpful advice. I'm looking forward to my next visit very much 👍🏻😁

The best Vietnamese restaurant around Newcastle by far, the food & service was top notch - had a great night there. The food serving and price is fair, the flavour was impeccable. The server's was attentive and very helpful - knew what everything on the menu was. Had an awesome night there with the great atmosphere.

We had dinner and the food was very nice and full of flavour. We had crispy squid, Ginger beef, Satay chicken and caramelised pork which we enjoyed. The only issue was that the vegetables were not cooked through. The cuts were thick so they tasted raw as if they were chucked in the wok at the end. The sauces that the dishes were cooked in made it easier to look past it. Overall the food was good. I would give it another try. I would recommend the squid and Satay chicken.
