Always friendly, always clean, always good. In response to 2 reviews. I have never had terrible service in the years I have been coming here, maybe YOU were just having a bad day. "Infamous for crime", no more than anyone city area- you blow it out of proportion. Most cities you have to be careful and alert at night. I feel, this location staff and service wise is the best DD around.

Fee things wrong with this DD
1) the employees are good (unfortunately they do what the owner tells them)
2) they never have fresh bagels (yes in the mornings) they store them in plastic bags so they don’t get hard
3) they keep the sausages and egg in the warmers all day (by the way they just sold me one super dry sausage)
4) The coffee is never fresh (specially iced coffee)
5) the problem here is not the workers is the owner. Not sure how this store pass (corporate) inspection
I know this because I used to work in one.
Regional inspector if you are reading this, please stop by any afternoon after 4 and you will see

The workers are quick, and very friendly (most of the time). The coffee and sandwiches are very good and I come here whenever I'm in the mood for a quick bite in the morning. The neighbourhood is a bit infamous for crime but in the day its fine.
