Harris Teeter

The pharmacy at Harris Teeter on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd is second to none. I don’t usually go there because it’s a distance for me but after my last several visits to that pharmacy, I might change my mind. Unlike the other HT pharmacy in New Bern, this one is always staffed so your prescriptions get filled quickly. There is nothing more annoying than having to rush to get a prescription, only to have to wait and wait for it. At this location, you don’t have to wait. Also, they are very friendly and respectful. While the majority of the people who work in the other Harris Teeter pharmacy are friendly, there are a few who are not. However, it appears that in the larger HT, they are all very friendly to me. Lastly, whenever I needed a medication, they had it! They have medication’s in stock, and do not need to order your prescription. That’s a big thing for me. If I need a medication, I normally can’t wait several days to get it. At this larger HT, they always have the medication I am looking for. So in short, I vote for this pharmacy over the other one, and if you are debating which pharmacy to go to, I would strongly suggest that you at least give the pharmacy at the larger Harris Teeter a chance. You’ll thank me later. :)

Knowing how ridiculously expensive "Taj Mateeter" can be, I'm going out on a limb by giving it five stars. The point is you have to shop it selectively. If you do that, you can actually find some things that are better priced and better quality than elsewhere. Thumbs up for their serious whole grain bread and their Nova salmon bits.

After taking the time 5o get familiar with this store I am updating my original review. This is a VERY large store. However, they have high quality and hard to find items. They also have a Starbucks walking into the main entrance, a nice florist, large selection of wines, as well as a fresh meat department, deli, and even a small restaurant. They also have a seafood market and bakery for custom orders. There is a pharmacy as well. My original review is 👇 This store is absolutely ridiculous! No single grocery store should have an entire city inside of it!!! If you want to spend 3 hours getting groceries because everything is spaced so far apart, then this is is the place for you.

The best supermarket one can go to, and it literally has everything you need other than clothes, I'm gonna have to say this supermarket has just gotten better since the password, I'm gonna have to say this supermarket has just gotten better since the passing of time. Their fried chicken taste like one of the national branded fried chicken. Even the pizza has gotten better. You guys keep up the good work.

Absolutely beautiful store! They have an actual butcher with an amazing selection of beef and pork. They spatchcocked my chicken. I won't shop there for "basics", but will definitely be my go-to for fresh meat and seafood 😋. Did I mention that they have a bar in the middle of the store? Makes shopping that much more bearable. 🤣

It's a very nice and clean store. But the main reason to shop here is because of a man named Jeffrey. He's been working here for about 15 years. He goes above and beyond for his customers. He is always quick to walk you to your car and help you pack your groceries. This man is a asset to your company .If Harris teeter had a Jeffrey and every store they would take over the grocery business. That's how good this man's customer service truly is. He loves his job he loves working here and you can tell by the way he interacts with each and every customer.

Love the new Harris Teeter on MLK Blvd. It's huge! So many great selections. Fresh deli items, tons and tons of cheese, fruits, vegetables and seafood. The old location was great but this one's even better. So many choices. Love the hot bar, salad bar, asian bar, etc. The juice bar, coffee shop, and the sushi train with the wine bar are all great! So much to offer in a grocery store and the staff is fantastic. Courteous and helpful! I love to coupon here as well!
