Wonderful food - bolognese was terrific as was ravioli. The desserts we had - tiramisu and lava cake were delicious too. Service was quick and super welcoming.

They accommodated a group of us twice at short notice. The food was fantastic. The owner was a hoot, joking with us, suggesting what we should eat and drink. If you were undecided on what to eat he made the decision for you...and what a choice - delicious. I will go back next time I'm in Nelson

What an incredible place, top quality food and friendly staff provided a happy and upbeat atmosphere. The owner Raf had a great sense of humour which enhances the experience. There was something to satisfy the whole family’s wants with a range of authentic Italian dishes, we all loved our night andwill definitely be returning soon.

You were right mate I do trust you. Excellent food Lamb spaghetti really flavorful and fluffy.
But the Pork belly especially was really flavorful and super soft It just melted really enjoyed it I would love to try the spare ribs next time.
This restaurant is awesome.

We couldn't decide what to have and stumbled onto Babagatto, the service was sensational AND the food was tremendous.
The whole place was happy and filled with laughter due to the waiter and his huge personality. It was simply a wonderful place.

Amazing food with heaps of flavour. Loved all the dishes we had and enjoyed the comedy of Raffaello the man in charge. He was good value and made the night a huge success. Well done team.

Please come and open up your restaurant in Perth, Western Australia. Had to dine in twice the spaghetti was that bloody delicious, the service was excellent. Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Nelson, NZ.

Great food and service and that free lil bread was gob smacking 😋. Think I found a small hair in my pasta though. I did bring it up w them. 👀
