Panera Bread

I have never gotten a proper order from this location. Today I ordered a bagel unsliced alongside a Mac and cheese and a coffee. I requested utensils. No straw, no spoon, and they had actually BUTCHERED my bagel when it was never necessary to cut it to begin with. I tried to call the store and requested to speak with a supervisor or manager, and was left on hold for 6 minutes straight, to which I pretty much gave up and hung up. Boyfriend and I have decided this is the last time we will be giving business to this location, as this is not the first time they’ve screwed up and not even the worst screw up we’ve experienced (they’ve forgotten multiple items from orders in the past). We never have problems with any other Panera location, seems to just be the Newton Highland Ave location that’s an absolutely poorly managed dumpster fire.

A great place to have a meal. For faster checkout, use the kiosk area to order. Food is great and tastes good. I do want to point out that not all of the associates wear masks or wear them correctly. You do want to pay attention to that, especially as now positive cases have risen in Newton. My Recommendations: Soups: Broccoli Cheddar, French Onion, Chicken Noodle Salad: Green Goddess (the pickled onions and avocado are a nice add to the mix as it just has a refreshing taste) Drinks: Iced Chai, really any smoothie but I go for mango, Passion Papaya Green Tea Bakery: Bear Claws (goes nice with a mug of warm milk), Lemon Drop Cookie, Brownie, Chocolate Croissant (goes nice with a mug of warm milk), etc. A few things have changed in the menu though which I am not happy about. The broccoli cheddar mac and cheese is okay, but I miss when they used to have tortellini pasta available like they did in the past. Lobster Roll Sandwich is priced fine and it does taste good, but for any lobster dishes at a Panera, you should always be on the lookout for shell pieces as they get their lobster meat from somewhere else.

Just finished dinning in here, it was very clean, and the broccoli cheddar soup was incredible! Very nice and quiet location. Employees were very friendly and helpful. This is the best Panera Bread so far that I’ve been too. In my opinion I would strongly recommend giving this location a try. I seen children so it seems to be very family oriented as well!! Enjoy!! It seems so much more convenient and to give a company a bad review when things don’t go right.... but how about taking a minute to acknowledge and leave a review when things do go right? Hopefully my honest review on my experience will help someone. Please do take into consideration all experiences can and do vary for each and every person. Sending wishes of safety to everyone.
