Hands down out of the 7 million views I received this past year this has been my favorite restaurant consecutively for 3 years. After missing this wonderful restaurant for 3 years, I decided to visit this past weekend with a best friend. The staff is first class here everything's hot and fresh out of every single review this is by far my favorite restaurant well worth the 6-hour drive from Charlotte. Y'all sure put a smile on my face with the food this past weekend.😃

I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. Drink specials for Happy hour every day between 2-6. Good bbq in a fun neighborhood. There is free parking behind the restaurant in a lot large enough to cover most of the restaurants traffic. I really liked the smokiness of the brisket here. The sandwich had a good amount of meat on it. I thought the fries were okay. They were seasoned well but obviously frozen. The cornbread was decent, but could have used some butter. It’s not a sweet cornbread, but it is hearty. Skip the fries and try some different sides, but overall this is a great choice and a Nashville favorite spot for good reason.

We stopped by for dinner and my Little Princess had the chicken plate with green beans beans and potato salad. I had a pulled pork plate with beans and macaroni. The meats were perfectly smoked and very tasty. The sides were some of the best we have ever had. Especially the potato salad and macaroni. The service is counter order, and food is delivered to your table. It was a little noisy inside so we sat on the deck as the evening weather was pleasant. Free parking is in the rear. These folks know how to make good BBQ and should be on your list.

The brisket sandwich was great. Meat was flavorful and well seasoned. The fries were crispy, full of flavor and a good portion. Sweet tea is good but from a refill station. Cole slaw has a vinegar drier style which is really good and pairs well to offset the spice of the sandwich. Great inside seating and outside seating. Very helpful staff and servers.

Ordered through UberEats: There was a snafu with our order, not a result of the restaurant, but it took us longer than expected to get all of our food so it could have been a more enjoyable experience but I still thought the food was great. We ordered 3 hot chicken sandwiches, and I loved mine as ordered but my kids weren’t too wild about the toppings (green sauce). They much prefer hot fried chicken with ranch sauce, nothing fancy, when eating hot chicken. We also had what might have been a 3 meat platter that came with some sides. The green beans were good, a tad salty, but flavorful. The corn bread was dry and we didn’t eat it. The banana pudding was delish, with fresh bananas, something I’d for sure want if we order here again. None of the other sides really stood out to me. Overall, the food was good, had a good flavor, and when we had an issue and had to call the store, the manager was me and professional. The biggest issue we had, and lessons learned is that we didn’t get any silverware. I didn’t see where to add that to the order and was wrong in assuming we just get some. We couldn’t find any at our hotel, we got all our food around 10pm after an Uber eats mix up, and was no choice but to eat with our fingers like cave men. Ask for utensils if ordering through a delivery service!!

Great location in 12 South with a nice open atmosphere inside. Had the smoked wings, ribs, tried the pulled pork as well. All very tasty. Their standard sauce isn't too overpowering in sweetness, spice, or smokey flavor, good balance erring on the sweet tangy side. I personally could've had a bit more spice, but totally get why that wouldn't be the standard. Smoked wings were probably my favorite as they were the juiciest meat. That is not to say the ribs weren't juicy, the wings were just perfectly cooked. Great char flavor on the ribs. I could go back several more times to try everything. Fried pickles were awesome for the sides. Easy order at the counter and find a seat style dining, which adds to the open family friendly vibe. Definitely recommend if you're checking out this area. Very cool and tasty spot!

WOW! This place has the best smashed burger I have ever tasted! The flavors are out of this world, and the juiciness of the patty is just perfect. And let's not forget about the pecan pie, supposedly from COLTS, an iconic bakery in Nashville - it's an absolute delight! The fried pickles were excellent as well, with just the right amount of crunch. Any of the tacos... eat them all! They also have a fantastic selection of local brews to enjoy with your meal. The atmosphere here is laid-back and friendly, making it a great place to relax and indulge in delicious food. I highly recommend visiting this spot to satisfy your burger cravings and experience the irresistible charm of this establishment.

When you just want solid BBQ with the rustic experience of how BBQ should be eaten this is exactly the vibe I envision. Order at the counter, grab a number and then go wait in great anticipation. When we arrived in the 12 South area there was a rather large line, shocking how everyone usually has the same lunchtime 🤣 but the area is so awesome that we walked around and shopped a bit till the line shortened. We got there at a perfect time and got a table right before another huge line formed. I'm just going to spoiler alert you right here, the smoked wings are fire. Order them. We got light buffalo sauce thinking it would be spicy - it wasn't at all - but the smoked flavor was delightful and the crisp outside and tender juicy inside was *chefs kiss* We also got a full order of ribs and didn't even eat half of them because there is SO much. But that's what sharing and leftovers are for. Their coleslaw is my favorite coleslaw now, all of the freshness and acid you need with smoked meats. The only tincy thing I would say as a bummer is that the sides are pretty small BUT that's only if you are splitting them with others they are a perfect single portion.

Yummy! Great BBQ and great value for what you get. We sat outside and had people waiting in line outside basically in our space (thanks dude for being in my face when I’m trying to eat) but other than that it was an enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend the banana pudding, brisket and potato salad. The bean concoction was different. Wasn’t really our thing. I’d go back again. The manager was very nice.
