Mimi's

Mimi’s Cafe is a decent place for a meal that’s convenient off of I-15 and 5300 South. It’s been in this location for a whole lot of years. Many of these restaurants have closed all over the nation. Their hollandaise sauce is pretty darn delightful. If you go, get something with that on top or on the side. Baked goods are delicious as well. All of the menu is available at anytime the place is open.

Busy Saturday morning. There was a wait for seating. Not a long wait. Our server was good, she took our order with our drink order. While waiting for our food, a man in a dress shirt and slacks yelled very loudly, loud enough most of the section we were in heard. He yelled saying does anyone hear the phone, I hear a phone, something like that. Our server apologized for that, we both felt like she did not need to be apologizing for his actions. He didn't acknowledge his behavior as off-putting or make an appearance outside of the servers area. Bless the employees for being treated poorly. Eggs Benedict, yum. Sausage and eggs platter, just enough to not overeat! Bloody Mary was unique - hit the spot! Thanks!

The place is so nice and cozy. The vibe is welcoming. The food is tasty. The service is good. I would come back. My friend and I met there before noon. We were shortly welcomed and sat at a table. I ordered the mango popsicle lemonade and she got a coffee. Then I ordered the hibachi salmon and she ordered an egg dish. They both looked nice and tasted yummy. We got the check, and stayed a little longer to chat. The server never rushed us to leave (there were plenty of other available tables too). I enjoyed my time and the food there. I recommend it.

I've never been here before. I've been enjoying venturing out to new places and this was no exception. The service was really great and even though I was running about 50 minutes late, and still took my order and my food was out only a few minutes after the rest of the table. They had two different quiche's which I really liked. I think it's a good place for a quiet get together.
