Called in early afternoon just the three of us and my son and l had a great all day breakfast, one of the larger offerings. service and staff was first class. My wife ordered cod with parsley sauce and a jacket potato. Having had this before at various restaurants around the country it was always the same combination i.e. a piece of boiled/grilled cod served IN the sauce etc. However on this occasion what turned up was a baked potato with a piece of cod in deep fried batter together with a separate turine containing a parsley sauce. Interesting interpretation. My wife, after coming to terms with what it was, ate it and sort of enjoyed it. But it wasn't finished and it was the unexpected batter that did it. But at least we will know next time as we will return.
