Delicious Rainbow Pastry @ ₹70...!!! 🥮 🍰 🧁 <br/><br/>As recommended by the shop owner, tried Rainbow Pastry this time.<br/>I’ve mostly tried all their range of pastries.<br/>This was something new and recommended too and hence bought it.<br/><br/>As per the attractive appearance, this is good too. <br/>Less creamy and soft bread + colourful makes it delicious and tasty.<br/>Price worthy and tasty.<br/><br/>*Definitely Recommended.<br/>*Should try once.

love the black forest pastry of monginis but here they say that they provide home delivery but do not believe that.They are like fake claims because even if you have exceeded the minimum balance border for ordering they would say there is nobody available to deliver your order<br/>Totally disappointed. You have lost me as a customer for sure!

The very first name that comes in my mind when I hear the word cake is "Monginis". And this outlet makes some good cakes and pastries. The only con I felt here is that they have those same old skool cakes with the same taste and texture. I seriously want such a known brand like Monginis to make some healthy upgrades by introducing some new flavours and improving the texture of the bread a little and that's it, Monginis will still be the best again!

I love Monginis Cakes since I was a kid. Devil's Delight pastry is my favourite till date. <br/>I even usually buy birthday cakes for my near & dear ones from here. <br/><br/>Taste: 4.0/5.0<br/>I bought<br/> 1 Dark Sensation Cake Half kg 360rs<br/>I loved this chocolate cake. Nice & gooey in texture. Cake was very soft as well.<br/><br/>Service: 2.0/5.0<br/>Service is a bit slow. Staff look uninterested. Cakes in the display counter were not labelled; basically you don't get to know the name of the cake itself. <br/><br/>Ambience: 3.0/5.0<br/>It's a small outlet.. size of the usual Monginis Store. Store is kept clean.<br/><br/>Value for money: 4.0/5.0<br/>For 360rs..a delicious chocolate cake..totally value for money.<br/><br/>This Monginis Outlet should take their customer service a notch higher!<br/>

Sluggish service...the staff here pretty much seems uninterested in your needs... (this needs improvement since theres alot of cut throath competition out there)<br/>Taste pretty much decent...but not comparable to the earlier days of monginis...<br/>I pretty much like only the black forest cake from monginis .. the one with the layer of biscuit below...taste heavenly...

Monginis has always been one of my favourite cake shops in Mumbai. As a child, their cakes played a special role in my birthday parties and they still do. So as a part of my moms celebration last year, i ordered for a double layer cake from this outlet and was surprised to see the variety they offer. I am well aware of all the pastries and cakes they provide, but was a bit doubtful about the double layer cake as it was the first time i was ordering for it. So the staff at the outlet handed me a book featruing a variety of double and triple layer cakes they offer. I was surprised to see the number of varities and also how helpful they were to take me through the whole book. I pre booked a Black forest double layer cake and they only took a day to prepare this one. It was packed in two seperate boxes and they took me through the layer process. The taste was fresh and amazing. Simply loved it:) The outlet also offers snacks including wafers,puff, rolls and more. The shop is too small though. And they are always crowded:(

Amidst the mini city created in the form of Thakur village in kandivali east and surrounded by many eateries,this outlet of Monginis still stands tall.<br/><br/>Had a devil's delight pastry on my recent visit from here. Been here many times during my college days. <br/><br/>The outlet is well maintained. Ambience is OK. Service is fine and pastries seemed fresh. <br/><br/>All in, a fine spot to drop by if one's with a sweet tooth starts giving out signals to you :D<br/><br/>Cheers!!

I was inducted into cake eating by Monginis. I have been a loyal customer to this outlet even since it opened up back in 1995, i guess. Until the recent evolution, I have loved Monginis for it's pastries and cakes. This is still a one stop shop for celebratory food and preparations. The variety has changed over the years and I somehow believe Monginis has failed to keep up with the changes happening in the bakery industry. Nevertheless, the cakes and pastries that are available here are still very tasty and fresh!! Nostalgia!!

Monginis Thakur Village Kandivali.<br/><br/>Untill 10 years ago Monginis was considered as a really good cake shop and was the go to place for cakes. Back then not a single birthday was complete without a cake from Monginis. It was considered to be a really good franchise serving delicious cakes.<br/><br/>However Monginis has become a victim of the franchise model and is no longer what it was, not even close to the Monginis of 2005. Now people only buy cakes from them as a last resort or when there is no other cake shop nearby.<br/><br/>This Monginis outlet is right on the main road and is not difficult to miss. They do have a decent varity of cakes, puffs, tea time snacks etc. Among their cakes the Devils Delight is the best, rest not so much.<br/><br/>The zebra pastry has always been my favorite but now lacks quality and doesnt feel like the way it was growing up. The puff's, samosa's, sandwiches that they have could be had as a snack and are infact quite decent.<br/><br/>The entire Monginis brand needs an uplifting and needs to be restored to what it was untill 7-8 years ago. With the competition for baked goods and cakes getting tougher, I dont think Monginis will be able to keep up with them.<br/><br/>Needs a lot of Improvement.<br/>Overall -2.5*/5.

I usually pick up snacks and pastries from Monginis. Many years ago we used to buy Birthday cakes as well so I have very fond memories of those times and presently I am somewhat of a regular across many Monginis stores. Their food in my opinion is usually decent well priced and meets some standards of quality. This is my main reason for visiting any Monginis store.<br/><br/>This particular store is usually frequented by college kids and does moderately good business. The problem with this place is the same with a few more Monginis outlets - Its stocks are too low . Even by 2 pm in the noon the attendant tells me that they are out of stock on whatever snack I demand. They always seem to have a large number of Veggie patties but no Chicken items. Doesn't this tell the management anything about stocking priorities?<br/><br/>As far as their pastry selection goes- It hasnt changed much over the years- They have added Choco lava cakes and some eggless pastries over the years but this doesnt quite cut out the whole the "world has gone ahead" thing. In times when other shops sell cheesecakes,custards, truffles, deep filling chocolates, croissants and Mousses- They are still selling the same old pastries - Its time they move and add new items to their shop - across the franchise.<br/><br/>Food 2.5/5<br/>Service 2.5/5<br/>Ambiance 2.5/5<br/>Pricing 4/5

Very bad experience with Mongini's 114, EMP-46, Ever Shine Millennium Paradise, Thakur Village, Kandivali East, Mumbai retail shop.<br/>Staff don't know how to talk and enterntain their valuable customer.<br/>Actually we had ordered 1kg cake of Rs 500 and cake was not good in taste so at the same moment we return the cake.But the retailer gave only 250 bugs cake out of 500. Even after visiting the outlet again and again they not giving cake in return and nor giving any satisfactory answer.
