If you crave authentic Chinese food, then this is the place for you. They serve delicious food, their quantity is amazing and of course super hygienic. I would definitely recommend. Situated at Bandra West, this is the best place to visit with family and friends :) :)

Take back to the 80's Street Chinese Fast Food Carts Taste & Atmosphere. Reasonably priced & very good portions. Excellent American Chop Suey, Island Rice. Recommendations on a tight budget & with a big group of family & friends. Parking can be tedious.

An absolutely hygenic place with friendly staff, great food portions, fresh food & budget friendly place. Peach Ice Tea ( MINDBLOWING ) - too good. Vegetarians NEED TO TRY OUT - dub paneer & paneer chilli in starters. Non Vegetarians - Apple chicken (dry), chicken hot&red, chicken salt&pepper - MUST TRY. Pot rice ( for those who don't wish to have flavourful maincourse ) & Chicken korean rice. Desserts can never go wrong with a hot plate of Sizzling Brownie With Ice-Cream. Recently visited Tiffins, Bandra and it was truly an experience that cannot be described in words, check pictures for the same :) My personal favourites are : - Dub Paneer - Chicken Salt - Chicken Hot & Red - Paneer Chilli Dry - Peach Tea Great service, very polite nature and always ready to serve the best. Tiffin is a small but amazing place for having a Chinese meal. A vast menu and friendly staff topped with amazing taste makes it my favourite in Bandra. Pricing is affordable with a lot of quantity for one plate to serve almost two. There is a space crunch along with no parking space but it could be managed without much hassles. They accept cards. As place is small, there is no washroom or even a washbasin, however they provide finger bowls for cleaning hands. Good for small groups & families.

Ordered for Korean Style Fried Rice Chicken. Ordered from Zomato App under Non Veg Fried Rice Section, still got call from Restaurant to confirm if it was Chicken or Veg. Zomato here need to check in there app. It was good on part of the Restaurant to confirm the same. The order was quickly delivered. However, when I opened the package it was disappointing to see only few chicken pieces added to the rice, not worth paying 300 + bucks (with taxes and delivery charge) for it. Also in special instruction, had mentioned to add spring onion in the rice which was ignored by the Restaurant.

I chanced upon this place late at night while hunting for food in Pali Hill. A small, buzzing outlet where people come for some nice Indian chinese delicacies. I ordered their Talumien soup followed by a roasted chicken sizzler. The food was too much for two people to finish. Nicely cooked, nicely served. In the month of November, a late night gamble at this place might just be the right idea. Special mention about the complimentary crispy fried noodles they serve while you're waiting with spicey momo chutney. Yummy!

Worst food ever!!! We often order from Tiffins ... n their service n taste of food is degrading day by day ... few weeks ago I visited Tiffins and I recited a video where a cockroach was on the dining table. I did not post it considering that it would be rude. But today I ordered again n it disappointed me today again. The rice and gravy was very spicy n all I could taste was paprika all over my rice and gravy. I will upload the video of the cockroach at @TiffinRrstaurant. I had ordered prawn schzwan rice , veg fried rice and chicken Salsala gravy. Prawns n eggs in rice could be hardly seen. The veg fried rice was bland... I suppose they forgot to add in the salt n condiments .... Prawns schzwan rice and chicken gravy was a disaster.... I suppose they dropped in the entire bottle of paprika in it !!! 😡😡😡😡

Never visited the place, but order quite often. All in all decent food. Good points: 1.Variety of items to choose from (huge menu) 2. Quick delivery 3. Large portions Bad points: 1. Some of the preparations are extremely spicy and absolutely inedible. The schezwan rice and noodles have no other taste but the painful throat scarring taste of chilly. (Order at your own risk) 2. Really expensive to order from. Ordering simple three items like rice noodles and gravy dish can cost you as much as 720 or even more. Verdict: Good for those willing to pay more for big portions. However, don't expect anything phenomenal when it comes to the taste.

Absolutely in Love with the food here.. Desi Chinese at it's Best! So went here one rainy afternoon and the family wanted to go to a restaurant with an outdoor seating space. Since they wanted to have Chinese I thought of Tiffin. And am I glad I chose this place. Superb Chicken Sweet Corn soup. Proper old school way of preparation. Just perfect. Hot n sour Soup can do with a little improvement. Crispy Fried Veggies. Just perfect for a rainy day. It's like having Chinese pakoras. Super oily and unhealthy 😋 Chicken Fried Wantons. Properly done .. Fried to perfection. Filling was just right. Fried rice and Noodles were alright. Made the Street style way. Not bad though. It's a good bet for a quick meal and especially in the rains it's not a bad idea to visit Tiffin. Great service, quick and prompt. Not too steep on your pocket either.

The food could not get more desi and unhealthy than Tiffin. Every dish has a thick coating and is fried to the hilt. The quantity is more than sufficient for two or more and the dishes are sensibly priced for the quality they provide. We ordered chilli paneer, schezwan rice and a red chicken starter between the three of us and were stuffed by the end of the meal. The gravy and rice went well together but the red chicken was just a disaster. I recommend ordering home rather than dining at the restaurant as the place is cramped up and has flies everywhere, and isn't the most hygienic places to eat at.

Disaster. Having travelled 3 continents I can assure you this is the worst the absolute worst food on the planet. We ordered a Sweet corn soup rating 3/5 - Decent soup although the corn was slightly raw but not much to fault. Crab Meat soup- It smelled like a dead animal was in the soup and the smell was bad enough to smell 100 meters away. The absolute worst but thankfull we didn’t taste this due to the smell. Malaysia Rice- The Rolled egg and my all time favourite rice since 20 years. The prawn was stinking as if it’s left open for 2 days. Unfortunately I had a bite and had to puke to get this nasty thing out of my system. Chicken China Town- Couldn’t taste since the Malaysian Rice made us puke. The manager diligently took away everything and presented us the bill of soup and Chinatown chicken. And insisted we pay up and that frozen seafood tastes just like this. Little did he know we have been visiting this place since we were kids and grew up on this food. We paid for the soup and left. 4 absolutely ruined appetites. An absolute insult to the place this once was. Shame. Ps- writing this as I am walking out. Hope this doesn’t cause food poisoning tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

This place is an open area food chain. The food is quite tasty here and also the rates are budget friendly. I tried singapore noodles and paneer chilly. I wasn't disappointed at all. The taste was up to the mark. The only thing that I didn't like about the place is the area. It is quite congested. Overall a good food and budget friendly place. If you are in pali hill and you're unable to find a pocket friendly place to eat then this is it.

This place is small and tidy in its own way. A fine corner for great Chinese food accompanied with quantity you can't finish alone. So please don't go alone. I won't tell u about ambience as it's an open place and a cozy one. No fancy dj or music plays in background. No wash basin so they provide bowl before and after the service. This restaurant may have changed its setting several times but their food still holds on to the same quality, which is a big plus. This humble little joint at the heart of Bandra has been one of my favourites for a quick meal or takeaways. Their portions are big, so unless you are a big eater one portion of rice can easily suffice two people. My usual choice here is the manchow soup, roasted chilli chicken and mixed fried rice. They have plenty on their menu so you will be spoilt for choice. Given their consistency, you wouldn't really have a reason to complain. This is really not the place for a fancy dine-out so make sure you judge the occasion and the company before heading here. Tiffin has its own long standing patrons, I being one of them. If you have a house party and a large group is to turn out order from this place because their portions will ensure there is enough for everyone.

It was one of our colleagues farewell, and everybody wanted to eat Chinese. So we looked up this place on zomato and ordered fried rice, Hakka noodles, paneer Shanghai and manchurian dry. We kept the order simple, understanding nobody can go wrong with basics. The order turned up pretty late, like almost after an hour it came. Packaging wise it was packed properly. Quantity was decent nothing to complain about, coming to the food. Fried rice was nice, Hakka noodles were little oily, would expect less oil. Gravy- Paneer Shanghai was nice, the paneer pieces could be little more soft. Star dish was Veg Manchurian dry, we all loved it. If we would order again, it would only be for the rice and manchurian!

Surrounded by numerous big cafes , tiffin would probably go unnoticed by the masses but i must say Tiffin ia a hidden gem.Immaculate white interiors. This is the place to hit to satiate your chinese cravings. One of the few restros serving authentic chinese. Their Menu is filled with assorted unique dishes most of which m sure you wouldnt have tried before. Known for their variety of sizzlers(must trys). Appetizers are sumtuous too. Highly highly recommended. Lookin forward to my next visit. Happy gobbling ;)

This is a small joint located in pali hill. Looking at the place wont excite you much,But i recommend you people to try this place for a quick lunch or try their appetizers. We tried their roasted chicken chilli and was very good,i dint expected though but yes it was really good , well cooked and good quantity. This place is neat and clean with good staff who recommend dishes according to your taste.

Having grown up in Bandra, I've been ordering from Tiffin for years. I was sorry to hear that management had changed hands recently, and am sorrier to say that it's not been for the better. Not only did they take over an hour for the last delivery, they messed up the order badly. Was surprised to see that the time of order on the bill was more than 45 mins later than when we ordered. When we called the complain, the new owners were rude and hung up. The only person who did his job was the delivery boy, whom we tipped, of course. The quality of the food has severely deteriorated. Not going to order from here any time soon.

Been going to Tiffin since years. Seen the place grow in terms of the ambience and a lot of additions to the menu. Lot of variety but I am the kind who sticks to certain dishes and not experiment a lot mainly because there have been instances where at a few places, a certain dish is awesome and then some other dish is below average. At tiffin I have eaten chicken shanghai, salsala, dragon and chilly and they taste good. Rice always is Egg fried rice which is standard. A portion of rice and main is more than sufficient for 2. Prawns butter garlic was nice too. Also if they are out of regular sized prawns then they give the option of preparing it with the smaller shrimps and that taste good too except that those tend to smell a bit.

Must start with..... Delicious food perfect dinner ordered a Apple Chicken, Korean Rice & Paneer Satay . Paneer Satay was not the way expected to be , but whatever served was tasty. Apple Chicken awesome. Korean Rice Good. The Quantity served is enough for three which is great. Pocket friendly as well . Negative points - Not Comfortable sitting as the tables are too close. Service could be improved . Had a great eve . Thank you

When i first heard about tiffin, it only gave me an idea that the food would be given in a tiffin box like Box 8 or would be served in a tiffin like Colaba social or Todi Mill Social. But to my disappointment, this place just ruined my day. Its only a small white house which is named as Tiffin without any reason or intension. The owner, the servers don't know its resemblance. Going ahead the first expression i had on my face, ruined my entire journey in Tiffin. As we entered, the place had 4 tables and thats it. That was the end of the restautant. I agree that Bandra has smaller and cozier places than any other location in Mumbai, but this was disaster. To add to it, there was extreme dirt everywhere. It looked like the place has never been cleaned, broomed, dusted before. Extreme over-dis-satisfaction!

This is a Tiny outlet at the junction of Pali overshadowed by Lemon leaf, however tiffin was worth an experience, I had ordered fried Chk which was very well made, it tasted like I Bhajiyas but having a Chk Bhajiya prepared so well was wonderful to eat. For main course I ordered Triple Treasure Rice, it was spicy but again very well prepared. To end with I wasn't expecting much from this place but it exceeded my expectation, I will definitely visit this place agn.

Visited the place ye@stday...its a small cramped up place.. But net and clean. Had a chicken dragon and Korean noodles.. Both wer cooked well. The dragon chicken had dis perfect lil crispy outer. Foods descent. Speaking about the cost a bit overpriced I felt. Will I visit them again? - I'm nt sure. There was nothing exceptionally great.

Have been going to this place since years ,the food quality and quantity never disappoints me. Even though the place is quite small, the ambience is quite good and service too. if you have a sweet tooth let me tell you, they do not have desserts in their menu. But it's One of my favorite Chinese restaurants :) should try their Crispy chicken,Crab Soup, Ice tea and Chicken Shanghai rice :D

I had eaten here once in the past and frankly I wasnt too impressed on that occasion. But not this time. Ordered the usual Chicken Fried Rice for my kiddo, some chicken starter suggested by the help there which was basically a sweet, sour and spicy chicken in red paste. The Chicken Manchow Soup was really nice, perfectly flavoured and with sprouts and plenty of veggies. The place is a bit snuggly fit with just two rows of seating on either side with a thin passing in between which may be a bit uncomfortable in a big group. Overall great value for money. Highly recommended budget eat place!

This review is for all Bongs based out of Mumbai, if u miss the quintessential Kolkata style Chinese Cuisine in Mumbai then this is The Place. It's hardly a 20 seater eatery but great food at a very pocket friendly price. This place is owned & run by a Bengali couple. Don't go with the expectation of great service but the taste of food shall remind you of the Peping, Bar b q, New Cathay, Chung Wah & other good eating joints. A nice place again, if your looking for a cheaper version of good Chinese food. The schezwan chutney these guys make is really yummy. Me n a friend ordered a garlic chicken fired rice with a Chinese gravy and they portion was good enough for 3 people to eat. Also the crispy chicken was very well cooked. In terms of ambiance this place is pretty simple and tiny. The ac sadly is never working and the management doesn't seem to do any about it also but overall a good place to eat ate for sata Chinese meals.

So we've tried this place twice and it just doesn't seem to disappoint where food quality and portion size is concerned. We recently had the Chicken Korean Rice which was awesome, we accompanied it with the Roast Chicken Chilli and it felt like a match made in heaven. Please note it is a tiny tiny restaurant with limited seats but their food is superb with really affordable rates, highly recommend all you foodies to try out this restaurant! Will try and add some pictures if possible.

Little bit of a twist in the concept of throwback Thursday as I decided to create some new memories rather than revisiting old ones. So on a friend's suggestion visited this eatery along with him. As we entered,couldn't help but talk about the ambience till we were seated. It is small,packed and may be cramped up but the name is well justified and the temperature of the room makes it deliciously air-tight :p No complaints inspite being small as the seating is comforting and tables well furnished and neat keeping hygienic constraints in mind. Ordered Chicken Talumein soup and Chicken Burnt Garlic rice from the menu. The staff were nice. Waiter being friendly and capable of making us choose the delicacy. We chose Talumein soup on the suggestion of the waiter. The soup was completely amazing. Matched our said requirements and was fabulously prepared. Warm clear soup with boiled stir fried noodles tossed up with generous amounts of appropriately boiled veggies adding both taste and aroma in our palates and around the room. The burnt garlic rice was fine. Decent shreddings of egg and chicken pieces with touch of garlic in roughly boiled rice. Felt the rice was kind of undercooked else no issues here as well. Service was efficient. The place being small the waiter could easily notice our requirements n pour in water when glasses got empty,clean up on time etc etc. Ambience: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Food:4.5/5 Value for money:4.5/5 Repeat value:3.5/5 The place being strictly small accommodating barely 15 people may cause a hitch. Whenever I feel hungry at that moment I give first priorty to tiffin ... The ambience is awesome .I like the interior full of white .. So I went alone to have lunch and I ordered chicken housin noodle after ordering my order I always gets the crispy noodles which is very tasty by having with schezwan souce which was very tasty , well then after having my order the flavor of capsicum and other ingredients were perfect made it was very tasty . the quantity is enough for 2 people but some how I enjoyed having lonely ...

When u want good food in minutes tat easy on thr pocket this is the place to go... I usually call for food from here.. being a Chinese addict and also lazy to cook at home... The egg fried rice.. Black bean chicken and a soup is around Rs. 500.. The food is great quality... chilly chicken is for the iron tongued and brave hearted.. It sure is spice packed but tasty .. super live it!!

Had heard really good things about this place and it was just like any other decent Chinese outlet. We'd ordered a chicken lollipop which was too oily but tasted good, a chicken hot and red which was tooo sweet so I didn't like it. For the main course we ordered chicken Shanghai noodles which was served with gravy on top and which was again sweet🙈Nevertheless, I guess I'd like to try something else from the menu if I happen to go to this place again.

Tiffins is a small place in Bandra that has stood the test of time. Family legend has it that my grand mom and her friend took me there for lunch when I was about three and not finding anything suitable for me, the owner allowed my granny to scramble an egg in their kitchen. Well when you are so gracious its no wonder that you've been around for so long. Tiffins serves simple tasty semi-Indianised Chinese. The portions are good and the best part is it's not oily. If you don't like your chicken coated with flour and deep fried, they will make you a roast chicken in your choice of gravy as well. One of our time tested favourites at Tiffins is crunchy chicken. Red, medium spiced, crunchy and well flavoured it's the one thing you will keep returning there for.

How many places are there which are synonymous with comfort food? My entire childhood involved parcels from here.. In fact it's the only place where I don't have to search the number in my phone.. I know it by heart! It's old school Chinese food with no pretentious.. Lots of msg.. Loads of soya and no apologies.. Love their spring rolls in chicken and their fried rice is the best! My favourite though is their Apple chicken.. It's chicken lollipops tossed in a schewan gravy.. Also recommended are the roast chicken chilly and the triple schewan rice noodle combo.. The manager is also kind enough to give certain dishes in half portions!! It's not fine dine.. It's comfort food in great proportions!

Wanted to visit this place for a long time since this place falls under my everyday area! Finally decided to go here. Ordered a Hunan Chicken for starters, and for main course we ordered Chicken Malaysian flat noodles and Chicken Pot Rice. The Pot Rice was overflowing with veggies more than the chicken pieces and it was okay enough in flavor except the overflowing veggies part. The Malaysian Noodles were really spicy and had color in it! This was the first time I was eating Red Malaysian Noddles and I didn't find it good at all! Although I loved the Chicken Hunan maybe because we were really hungry and gulped the entire thing so fast. Considering the area it is in which is between Sahibaan and Lemon Leaf, this place was a huge disappointment and I doubt if I'm ever going there again. Although the portions of food were really good and the ambiance was good too the food miserably failed in terms of flavor. Also the prices put up on the menu is different from what it is now! The prices have gone up and so I prefer even Stomach to this place.

Try their chicken schezwan fried rice... It makes for a great hangover lunch order in! Haven't really tried much of their other food but if you're craving Indian Chinese then this is it.
