Monginis located near Andheri west station.... When we talk about cake first thing came to my mind is Monginis..... There cake is spongy nd fluffy too.... We always order cake from Monginis only.... This outlet is present nearby to the andheri (west) railway station.<br/> i had ordered a bday cake and the cake was spongy and tasty.<br/>A varieties of cakes and pastries and puffs. <br/>Ferrero rocher and red velvet are my favorite.<br/>Online orders now days is not possible.<br/>Ambience -8<br/>Quality-7<br/>Quantity-7<br/>Value for money-8

Monginis, the name itself needs no introduction. Monginis has being an integral part of celebrations in our childhood. But over the years with the openings of much better cake shops Monginis has looked a bit lost. The major factor supporting Monginis is it's price point and it's the reason i still visit them when I'm broke af! <br/><br/>After trying all of the cakes, the three cakes standout tall for me:- Zebra Torte, Dutch Truffle & Black Forest. Brought home Dutch truffle last week from this Andheri outlet and it was fresh and tasted good. <br/><br/>I also love the savoury food here, which is quite underrated. Croissants, Veg pizza are good and well prepared. Tried the chicken burger and it was good with a decent sized patty and mayonnaise. <br/><br/>Monginis as franchise will always be there and vl remain special. However with the growing competition around, Monginis needs to introduce some new exotic flavours or something else to stay relevant. Cheers..!!

It's sad to see the quality go down of this place.<br/>I grew up eating Monginis.<br/>I was a big fan of Black Forest. <br/>Luckily somehow i still like the Black Forest here. <br/>I have tried almost all the pastries here. <br/>Black Forest and Dutch being good goes till the worst red velvet ever. <br/>They should do something to revive their brand.<br/>

Monginis is the place which brings back nostalgia from my childhood. Those were the days with lack of competition which made Monginis survive, they seem to have currently lost their position with tonnes of new entrants. <br/><br/>Nevertheless, there are certain things which are still perfect in Monginis. The slice cake for instance. I have not been able to find the same taste anywhere for slice cakes. They've recently come up with Muffins as well which are really soft, gooey and fresh. (atleast the number of times that I have had them, luckily). I love their pizza in the savories, its not the typical pizza but it has a special spot in my mind since when I was a kid with 50 of pocket money daily, this was the only pizza I could afford!!

Monginis used to be really frequented by us decade ago when there weren't too many options for us in terms of gourmet bakeries and not enough monies in our pockets either, so this was heaven for us :D Slowly, however many innovative, gourmet, experimenting bakeries came up and our patronage went there as we realized that most of the pastries and cakes here were watery, not creamy enough or dense enough etc. Once in a while I would taste something from Monginis at some friend's place or maybe at the office but nothing stuck out. I think they might have focused on their quality recently as my friend got a bunch of pastries from here to office last week and they were all good!<br/><br/>We had Dutch Almond, Zebra Torte and Red Velvet pastries, where Dutch Almond was dense (Loved it), Zebra Torte was gooey and a bit sweeter,less dense than Dutch Almond while Red Velvet was okay, a bit salty and had these sugary bits that I did not like, but it was not bad at all. Main thing is they are still very affordable for the masses which is their USP when compared to a lot of other bakers/patisseries. So if they continue to innovate and make superior quality products, they should keep their place intact in the long run :)

My go to place for some amazing cake binging . I have eaten most of the cakes this place has to offer that is most of the chocolate ones . The zebra torte , devils delight, the chocolate cake , pineapple cake , mixed fruit cake etc. I found the red velvet too salty here .<br/>But all the others cakes i mentioned were too good to be true . Monginis has got back their original quality and increased their standard. <br/>Their cakes have a proper balance between cream and cake which is the best part . <br/>The black forest cake is Amazing and one of the best cakes possible as it has a crunchy base which highlightens the cake altogether. <br/>The choco lava cake of monginis is my all time favorite. The snacks there like sandwiches, burgers, puffs and tea time cakes with wafers are also nice . <br/>Overall i really enjoy monginis and i am glad they have become better over the ages .

I was always a fan of Monginis, because we never got any other cakes in form of pastries at that time. This one in andheri is a good one with a nice showcase. But I feel that overall Monginis as stayed where it was more or less in the last so many years. They were probably one of the oldest to come up with pastries as far as I can remember but they are the same as they were. <br/>The ferroro rocher pastry is something relatively new and was nice

As I said earlier and also my track record is a vital proof that Monginis has evidently been the most visited confectionery joints I've ever been too till date and this very outlet in andheri is no exception! <br/><br/>The outlet is good and well set in terms of interiors and has displayed its treats very attractively. Picked my absolute favorite,the devil's delight and gotta say it was fresh and tasted yummy as always. <br/><br/>Staff was friendly. Ambience done good. Hygiene well maintained. Service quick and efficient when asked to heat the pastry as per my requirement. Its been 25 day of Chicken Bone found in VEG Crunch Patties incident still there is no response from monginis and the forward mail you are seeing is send 12 day back but there is no response... I think monginis have made their point they don't care what at all they serve and who eats it just want to make money...we even tried Mr. jagdish Shettys and Mr. Mahesh number but no response they don't answer or call back... as I feel monginis is taking things for granted..  so going forward trying to get in touch with Zoher H Khorakiwala (Chairman), Idris H Khorakiwala MD of Monginis and others to know if they knows about this incident as monginis clamed they have never faced this kind of issue before and they know what have they done about it.... monginis cannot play monkey business with common man and take them for granted.. Best of Luck Monginis For their growing business and Also Very Best of luck for people who consume Monginis Products God Save them.. This incident took place on 19/04/2015 Address : Yari road Bus Depot Andheri West.Timing : Between 12:00 to 12:30 pm..Me rohan and my friend meenakshi orderd for VEG Crunch Patties and confirmed it as veg green symbol was tagged on it while eating meenakshi realised there is a bone in it ( Chicken Bone ) Meenakshi is a Pure Vegetarian she has never touch or eaten Non-veg in her life now she is sick and down with stomach upset.. Chicken Bone In veg Patties is not acceptable at all this incident happened in Mongin...is cake shop in Yari road Bus Depot Andheri West... I have a photo on Veg Patties with Chicken Bone And the Monginis cake shop... please coctact me @ 9820071009 rohan shetty Meenakshi no. 9833749204.. few days back I got a call from team member of monginis saying they did the investigation they found out VEG Crunch Patties was bought around 12:15 pm and we came back with the complain after 4 hrs??? I seriously want to know what kind of investigation is this, I don't think MONGINIS is serious.. 1) IF THE INVESTIGATION WAS DONE SERIOUSLY THEY WOOD HAVE KNOWN WHERE THE INSIDENT HAPPENED EVEN AFTER THE DETAILS ARE SHARED ON MONGINIS TIMELINE 2) IF MONGINIS WAS SERIOUS FIRST THING THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE IS TO CHECK ( CC TV CAMARA ) WHICH IS INSTALLED IN THE MONGINIS OUTLET AND KNOW WHAT EXACTELY HAPPNED... And the most funniest part of the investigation is this incident happened in Yari road Bus Depot Andheri West and they are claiming it happened in ( FOUR Bungalows Andheri West )... what a waste of time... STILL THERE IS NO  APPROCH FROM MONGINIS AND EVEN AFTER SHARING MEENAKSHI NUMBER SHE DIDNT GET A SINGLE CALL AFTER ALL WHAT SHE GONE THROUGH .. THAT SERIOUSLY AMEZING... I THINK ITS TIME I SHOULD POST THIS IN ALL OTHER WEB SITE AND LET OTHERS ALSO KNOW IT IS A RISK HAVING FOOD FROM MONGINIS IS RISKY SPECIALLY FOR VEGETARIANS...

I do not remember, there was any celebration in the friends' group of mine and we celebrated it without a Monginis cake. There is a decided agenda in the group to try new flavour or type of cake every time! and the good thing is we always could do this, on every birthday of someone because of the delicious varieties of cakes at Monginis!

I stay away from my family because of work and hence probably miss every celebration at home..but I always try to be a small part of that celebration by sending something like cake, gifts at home via Monginis and I have experienced great service every single time! I am happy because of their good services, I could make my presence feel to my family on every special occasion!

All time favorite outlet is here with its confectionery at its best products which are completely admirable and apt acc to costing. Extremely phenimenolly priced and vowed to the best quality. Pick up pan pizza and I am sure u will want to buy again and again. Add up a barbeque roll and if not that a connizza that will melt down Ur throat to Quinch Ur hunger. Too too too goood. Go for it.
