On one fine rainy evening my friend and me strolled into the restaurant. It was emptier than we imagined and we grew suspicious right then and there. After we were greeted and seated by a smiling manager (call me a snob but smile matters) I had to change my opinion and write this review. The entire restaurant was very nicely lit the decor was great and the ambience pleasant as you would expect from any fine dining. The food was excellent in my opinion and most of all; it tasted fresh, unlike a few places in the same area. The chat was an absolute delight especially if you are looking for some North Indian style gol gappas and tikki. Different than other buffets at this counter was that there was a guy making it for you. The dry snacks served at the table and the desserts would definitely make me come back for more. The main course was a good mixture of both Noth Indian and South Indian curries and the dal makhani was delightful. Very few places in Mumbai live upto my expectations on this particular dal. oh yes. zomato has quoted the price wrong for meal for 2. I would go with 1500 - 1600 tops without alcohol. The music was very mild and not painful to the ears with a list of symphonies from old Hindi movies taste of food ***** value for money **** service *** would I recommend it to a friend: yes on days I might prefer this to the barbecue nation in their neighborhood
