Applebee's

The food was delicious. The waitress not so good. She didn't refill our drinks. Then when she said she would she kept forgetting. When we got the bills, mine was wrong. Ordered a 6oz steak. Was charged for 8oz steak. I didn't know the deference when she brought our food. I ended up paying almost $30 for a meal that I usually only pay about $24 for at Salem, Illinois Applebee's which I go to several times a month and usually get the same meal. Anyway I paid for it because I ate the meal already without knowing it was the more expensive steak.

DO NOT COME HERE! Let me just summarize, before I elaborate on the details, that this place does not deserve even 1 star. We stood in the lobby while the employees stared at us as if we were some exhibit for almost 10 minutes. Finally, by some miracle, someone approached us and asked where we would like to sit. This was obviously not the best start, and it was only made worse by the fact that it appeared as if toddlers had been appointed clean up duties for the place. It was a wreck! The food was mediocre, drinks were only refilled once, and the entire atmosphere was dead. Do not come here if you wish to have a pleasant dining experience.

Went here for our anniversary and was disappointed. It was a Thursday, barely anyone in the Restaurant. Waited 45 mins for our food. The fries were cold and the main meat portion was hot so at least we had that. I ordered top shelf LIT. My empty drank sat at the end of the table for 10 mins before I was able to get another. Terrible cook. Terrible service. I’ll never return to this location. I have visited the Applebees north of here in Salem, Il on multiple occasions and the food and service has always been great.

Applebee's has been more miss than hit here lately, and this location is not the exception. While my wife's food was good, my steak was ordered medium and came well done. I don't complain about one "doneness level" either way, but when you miss it by 2 you need more training. My wife's salad came after her meal. And her mixed drink did not have the cherry or sugar on the rim. Then we ordered a blonde "our main reason for going to an Applebee's" and the cake part of the blondie was still very cold. It was supposed to be reheated before serving. I understand places are short staffed and they had a couple challenges to deal with, but they weren't busy, and customers expect better. Challenges: The waitress was new Another table in our area had a few special requests. (Had the waitress running) I over heard another table asking "who is cooking" and the response was that the manager was helping cook. Even with the couple problems, they should have been able to handle what should have been very simple dishes.

I gave it 3 stars for the drinks, mozzarella sticks and our waitress was great. The food here isn't good. We ordered various items. 2 different kinds of burgers, chicken fettuccine with broccoli and a combo appetizer. It was a hit and miss and more of a miss. The burgers was ok. The garlic parmesan chicken bites was a disappointment and the chicken in the chicken fettuccine taste old. Too bad cause they have some great drinks
