I had by far the worst experience at this location on 07/03/22. After waiting in line for about 10-15 minutes, I approached the speaker to place my order to only receive from the other side, “It is 11:00, and we are closed and are no longer taking orders.” My clock literally read, 11:00PM. I explained to the person behind the speaker that we had been waiting in line for several minutes, and there were more cars behind me. I inquired about their normal protocol to notify customers that they’re closing, and will no longer take orders, even when there are cars in line. The person provided the most insulting, rude response to me, “there are people like you…” She then repeated herself saying she was not taking any orders, and left the speaker. I was later able to obtain her name, in which I will of course speak to someone further about. What is most disturbing, is that I do not live in the area any longer, but after speaking to several others who do live in the area, stated this is very common behavior from this location, as well as the manager, Macie, which is who I was speaking with on Sunday night. Most people will rather drive to the other location on the other side of town, to bypass the poor customer service here. It is AWFUL, and quite embarrassing for the city of Mt. Pleasant, that this is the closest one to the interstate and I’m sure they receive numerous of visitors from out of town or even out of state. This truly is a poor representation of Mt. Pleasant hometown country love, that I know is there. I’m disappointed.

I have always ordered from this location but I will definitely be driving across town to order. I understand that every place is short staffed but customer service etiquette should always be implemented. First, I waited 7 minutes before they got to my line, while the other line kept getting greeted. When they finally asked for my order they didn't have the menu on display, I knee what I wanted, 4a Crispy chicken sandwich, they kept putting McChicken NOT THE SAME, and I politely stated that is not what I want, the young lady yells through the speaker and kept yelling until I completed my order... I kept my cool, I get to the drive through and another lady opens the window to collect my card, and I have to literally get out my car because she only opens the window and stands there with her hand out.... I have dealt with this lady before..... I dislike leaving negative reviews but come on you guys, we have got to treat others with respect, love and kindness ❤️ This is unacceptable. I will not be coming to this location for a while. Managers need to step up their expectations. Those who want to work will and do it with dignity and respect for others and themselves.

I was traveling back home from Arkansas and stopped for lunch at this McDonald’s. We ordered at the kiosk, got two meals and three drinks, when they called our order they didn’t give us the cups and I stood there for about five minutes and in that time one worker looked right at me and didn’t ask what I needed. She came back and still didn’t ask what I needed and I said “we didn’t get our three large cups” and she gave them to us just fine. At the kiosk I put I wanted one bbq and two sweet and sour, but they didn’t put them in the bag so I went up to ask for some and the same worker got it for me and shoved them in my hand and she only gave me one sweet and sour so I said “oh, can I have one more sweet and sour please?” And she didn’t say anything and shoved it in my hand again and said in an attitude “next time order it through the kiosk” and I said “oh I did but no one put it in the bag” and she just turned around and walked away.

In the drive thru @ 10:30pm order 20 reg nuggets and 20 spicy. I was super excited about the spicy then I got them home and realized they were hard and not alot of meat just hard old crunchy nuggets. Very disappointed since I'm just visiting this town for 1 night. And the 1 large fry we order were definitely old and had been sitting under the heat lamp way too long. I just needed a pick me up and all I got was a let down.

I have been to this store a handful full of times in the 5 yr I've lived here- each time I say verbally to myself & dogs in the car- I hope I don't ever need to cone back here again- bc each time they treated me so badly with horrible food or fouled up order so bad I'd swear it was on purpose or it took soooooo long to even order & get thr order that I left even after paying for it! I recommend that if you must go to this McDonald's DONT! GO TO BED HUNGRY- ITLL BE WELL WORTH THE WAIT to NOT eat there. Yuck & Ewwww!
