Applebee's

Restaurant mainly empty, and we were sat next to a huge table of kids. 1st mistake. Salad? It was forgotten. Broccoli sent back cold. Alfredo sauce was nasty, Broccoli while hot the 2nd time, was freezer burnt. Chicken was dry and tasted like card board. Fries undercooked, still cold in the middle. Finally had to go to my car to get sweet n low as I couldn't seem to get it either. AWFUL experience!!!

Okay, being understanding comes hard when people just can't do their job. The food was okay. Nothing that really says wow! Just okay. The service needs true help. No refills, no silverware, no ketchup, or no real service. IF you go here, bring patience and time. I made a note not to go back here. Cheers and enjoy the moments.

We recently visited the Applebees in Mt. Pleasantly. I have never seen a full crew off sloppy dressed wait staff, host and hostesses, bus staff, and door greeters. It was awful. Waiter taking out order while looking through his hair, that needed to be pulled back. The person that sat us, had dirty pants in sagging every where and the greasiest hair hanging in his or her face. Took 4 of them to figure out how to do the senior citizens discount and they had to call someone. Then when we left, the guy that opened the door for us was so sloppily dressed and wrinkled and looked dirty. We won’t be back. Didn’t see a manager at all. What has happened to caring about appearances? Cleanliness and the training our waiter had was not complete. He didn’t know to remove the dishes when we finished our meal and just kept adding more glasses and plates. We all kept shaking our heads. We were embarrassed we invited a couple to join us there. Service has just gone down so bad. I hope someone comes in and cleans this up

Terrible experience cheyene was the name of the server she hardly attended our table she didn’t even ask if we were needing something when we did needed refills also our food was partially given to us but yet she was attending a table that got there after our party she just had a rude personality toward us

Employee shortage on Father's Day. Two of the servers decided on that day to spend Father's day with their family. I guess it was a last minute decision on their part. Only two cooks that night too. Sounds like hell day. Manager had us wait at the door for 30 minutes. Could the manager had sat us, given us a drink and asked us to wait 30 minutes? Not sure the reasoning. My food was cold when delivered but easily heated. Server was great and I wish I could have gotten his name. Not a horrible experience with everything considered. I am greatful I have restaurant experience so I get it.

This place is in serious need of remodeling. The booths are falling apart, the carpet is old and dirty. Our waiter was nice but did not pay much attention to what we were ordering. My French fries were seriously over done to the point of being unedibile. My grilled chicken was dry and bland. Our overall experience was terrible. I don't recommend this place at all.

My husband and I stopped to eat lunch at the Mt Pleasant, TX location on 3/18/22. The food was good except the chocolate cake and icecream i asked to go( the cake was still cold and stale)but the atmosphere and the presentation was awful. The bartender was rude to the waiters and was intentionally making them wait xtra long to fill their drink orders. The bartender was loud and got cross with our waiter after he had tried for 10 min to unsuccessfully to get the bartenders attention to fill our drink order. I almost got up to go ask for the drink myself. I most likely will never eat at this location again and definitely will not recommend it to anyone.
