The rooms are absolutely fabulous, I'd rate 10 stars if I could. Everything in the facilities is very clean and fresh smelling. The Ascend is a good sports bar to eat and have a few drinks; we enjoyed visiting with our bartender Vicki. Will definitely return and stay a couple days again in a few months!

Should allow smoking in some of the rooms again. Before you had the 3rd floor smoking in the hotel. I really think you should consider that some of us would like to be able to smoke. Not everyone is a non smoker! I don't drink alcohol but it's allowed in the rooms. Be fair to EVERYONE please. Other than that, I love staying there!

Excellent rooms and facilities. All the rooms have been recently updated and have modern features such as powered blinds and shades. My wife and I had a chance to visit the spa for a massage which was nice and updated as well. There's a variety of restaurant options varying in price, the new Ruth's Chris steakhouse is excellent. Casino is very nice as well, clean, and offers a good variety of games. We will be back!

The room was just o k for the price that we paid. Complete with a lovely view of a parking lot, Room was basically clean but dated with some rust water marks in the shower and basic mediocre amenities in the room. We were saying two days, but we're not supplied enough coffee or condiments, even for the first morning. The staff was generally pleasant and helpful, no complaints.

I spent four days at a conference in this wonderful facility. Every single thing about this venue was perfect. We were all very impressed with every single staff member we interacted with, who were accommodating, kind, and helpful. The rooms were beyond our expectations, and the restaurants here were surprisingly affordable, except for the steakhouse! (National Chain) We will likely return to this venue on an annual basis for our Michigan conference. Just wish the colors had been more vibrant in the area, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Great job Soaring Eagle!!
