What a g to find on the backroads between Mount Dora and Tavares. This cozy country restaurant has it all. Great food, atmosphere and great service. First time visiting as they are only open Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00am to 2:00 pm. I thought to myself how can they stay in business? Well I soon found out. First thing you notice when you pull in is the food truck parked and the murals painted on the side of the restaurant. Though I haven’t experienced it I can only assume they started with the bbq trailer first before opening a brick and mortar establishment. When I walked inside I found a very cozy small town feel from front to back of restaurant. They sold their own sauces, and locally sourced honey. When we were being seated the hostess ask if we would like to sit at the “Bee” table”? I soon found out why it was called that as we sat in front of a window with be hives that were full and producing. It was a very nice view for eating. Food was excellent and I would definitely recommend it to all.

I used to come here back when this was The Green House and I enjoyed it back then. I knew the place was sold a few years ago and I really like how they have fixed things up. Really good breakfast and great service. I’ll definitely be back! Love the breakfast choices and they offer breakfast specials

My second time here at Barnwood! I've had two great experiences. I met Maria at the carwash, and she had her Barnwood tee-shirt one day, I asked her about the restaurant, and she suggested coming for Thursday special baby back ribs ! I had baby back ribs , rice & beans with slaw they were perfect flavor, tender, and tasty! Maria is an amazing ambassador and excellent customer service. Thanks, Maria and staff, for my great experiences!❤️💯
