The place is now called "the other side", and the food was surprisingly good!

This restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly. We got seated right away and were taken care of throught our visit. The food alone made me give it four stars, it was prepared fresh and it has a very authentic flavor to it. I would highly recommend this spot and will come back every time im in Montery, CA.

I'm Mexican and I'm a cook. I think that the quality and the presentation of the food doesn't match the prices being too high for it. They didn't offer variety of salsas for the food. Everywhere else even a small taqueria can provide better authentic food wth better prices. Mexican food does not have a high cost. El torito and chillis restaurants are a lot cheaper price places and the look a lot better. (Servers were great)

Read the mediocre reviews but followed my girlfriend's advice to have dinner here, I'm glad we did! The food is amazing and the atmosphere (and live music) is very, very nice. Highly recommended!
