Sur Burger

Burger was delicious. Beer was cold. The service was lacking. He seemed a little preoccupied. He came and took our order and didn't write anything down. I thought he was just really good at his job. Unfortunately he forgot a few details about our order. Nothing super important but I bet it would have been spot on if he wrote it down.

This place has a sports bar vibe. The food is decent. They do have a large selection of alcohol options. Also this is one of the few places that offers outdoor seating fully stocked with heaters and umbrellas. That is all good and my favorite highlight is the staff! They are super helpful and friendly!

Update: went back again and the fries were absolutely perfect, they had read my review and acted on it, with this kind of positive action they could go a long way. I hope they have a great few days holiday. I had the Big Kahuna burger with a gluten free bun, it was very juicy, which mixed with the sauce and fell out of it, but if you eat it over your fries it kind of works, excellent GF bun BTW and nicely toasted. I was thinking it would be a bigger burger than the others, but the clue is in the pricing, with the beast being the more expensive option. My only criticism is that the fries were just a little oily and you could taste it, might just be due to putting a large number in the fryer at one time just dropping the oil temperature, maybe a one off, but hopefully an issue they can address. Reading the other comments, the food might be a little variable here due to being a small operation, hopefully they will find ways to improve that, but it's really splitting hairs as it's extremely good, the service is consistent and well done and it definitely deserves success.
