Black Bear Diner

Burnt out on fish I was looking for a good spot a to get a classic breakfast and we landed on this spot. I did the steak and eggs and it was delicious and just what I was looking. This spot is 100 times better than Denny's or something and the service was amazing. Definitely would recommend this spot for breakfast.

Plenty of parking in a lot net to a gas station. Went in on a Monday morning around 9am in a party of two. Ambiance was quiet, clean, and looks like a faux cabin, which was really nice. We got seated immediately, got waters, and our server came to take any additional coffee orders. I ordered the Volcano and let me tell you, I regretted nothing. IT SLAPPED (and that's young people talk for absolutely phenomenal). It was three huge, tasty pancakes and two of each: bacon, sausages, and eggs however you like them. For $14, it was a steal. I'll definitely be back.

A nice traditional American diner. It may seem a step back in history, but for those enjoying a quiet, spacious, reasonably priced place to have classic dishes, this place is hard to beat. The servers are friendly and tentative. It's not a 5 star restaurant, but the experience is one of comfort, calm and simple pleasure. What more does one want for a casual family meal?!

We had an amazing time. The service was very friendly, attentive and also fast. Our server shared his own recommendations, which were all good, and he helped tweak our kids' orders so they were exactly what they wished for. Fun atmosphere, lots of space. The portions were huge, even the kids' meals. We can especially recommend the burgers, tri-tip, mashed potatoes and the tomato soup.

Great, authentic American breakfast dinner, offering anything you can dream up. The best "thing" about the place are the people, the staff that is super nice, very helpful and even under the worst stress smiling. Special thank you to Donna, for starting our mornings at Sea Otter with great food, coffee and positive energy. We will be back next year.
