Mr. Baguette

I visited during COVID-19 period when you can only do take out. I think the French bread is crunchy and soft inside but the crispy texture outside of the bread is not there. Ingredients were so so and not consistent and not very tasty. Other Bahn mi places used more flavorful meats and outstanding condiments. It is just okay place for a decent Vietnamese sandwich.

Covid updates: As of Jan 2020: You no longer have to enter the store. They’ve set up registers where the entrance is and there’s a sign that says Order Here. You pay and you pick up your order to the window on the right side where they call out order #s. They have adequate plexiglass barriers between you and the staff placed both at the register where you have to order and where you go to pick up your food. As always it’s very clean inside. Sign posted says they close at 5pm. Fav banh mi place in the area. Service is always nice. Bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. You can’t go wrong with the #1. Pate tastes good. Overall, a fresh sandwich. Another fav is the grilled pork #5.

I ordered a small black ice coffee with 1/3 ice. Instead of full cup of coffee, I got ONLY 6oz which is less than 1/3 of the cup with $3+(??????). I couldn’t believe my eyes & I didn’t argue with the staff cause it’s not up to her & didn’t want to embarrass her. I grabbed it and walked out. I do this cause I don’t ALWAYS drink it all at once. Starbucks/Coffe Beans will fill it up & give me a separate cup with ice ONLY with less than $3 & I believe Coffee Beans is the lowest (less than $2?) & they both taste great!. Bye bye Mr Baguette!
