The Waterview

My husband and I couldn't be happier that we decided to have our wedding reception at The Waterview in November 2021. We signed our contract back in December 2019 before COVID19 reached the United States, and there was a lot of resultant uncertainty over the next nearly two years. Kat and April were really communicative throughout the entire process, flexible, and helped make our wedding day amazing. The entire staff wore masks, were professional, and the reception ran smoothly and perfectly. For the safety of our guests and venue staff, we required all of our guests to be fully vaccinated and no one reported testing positive for COVID19 in the 14 days afterwards. We've been told by multiple family members that this was the best party they've ever been to. The food was delicious, drinks were generous, and autumn colors around the lake were stunning. We'd highly recommend The Waterview.

My husband and I recently used The Waterview for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. Colin was our event coordinator and he did an amazing job. He was very timely in his response to our emails and was able to answer all of our questions. Colin and all of the other staff were very professional with their interactions with us and our guests. They made our vision come true with their attention to detail. We had many compliments on how nice the venue was, as well as how good the food was. We highly recommend The Waterview.

We had an excellent experience hosting our wedding at the Waterview on 6/12/22. Everything ran smoothly and our vision was realized flawlessly. The staff was highly attentive, flexible, and professional - especially our coordinator and attendants. The food and drinks were excellent from beginning to end. And most importantly, all of our guests had so much fun!

I attended a friend's wedding. Overall it was a beautiful location for ceremony & reception. My only critique is, and maybe this is more driven by couple rather than venue choice, there is no shade at all available for outdoor ceremony and there was only 1 bartender working at the reception. On a sunny 87 degree day, that's a lot to ask of anyone. After being in the heat, some people spent more time waiting in line to get a soda than they did at the entire reception.

Words can’t describe how grateful we are for our coordinator Taylor and the entire Waterview team! Our February wedding day felt stress-free and we were able to be present and enjoy each moment. We know there must have been things that went “wrong” but we did not see any of it, which is a testament to the team’s ability and commitment to us. They truly made us feel so special and supported! Our guests and vendors had so many compliments, like “it’s the most beautiful wedding venue I’ve ever been to!” and “the best cocktail hour apps ever!”  (Clear favorite was the jerk steak passed app!). Guests were so impressed that the 2 bartenders were able to handle the entire group with no lines. The Waterview truly lives up to their years of positive reviews!
