Mina's Spanish Kitchen

So I just placed an order for $52 over the phone. Which only entailed of moro de guandules with the steak with onions, the skirt steak with moro de guandules(yellow rice and pigeon peas) and a papa rellena (potato ball) which they did not have and replaced with yuca rellena. I am of dominican background and grew up in Brooklyn. THIS IS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM DOMINICAN FOOD OR FLAVORS!!!!! When I arrived the ladies were all over the place. And the food needs flavor!!! THIS IS NOT IT!!!!! ANOTHER LOSS ORANGE COUNTY!!!!! I'm sorry but this is $52 down the drain. Even Nelly's is better than this. 🤢

Food was AMAZING!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS GRRRREAT.... I Suggest for you to try there Pernil (Pulled Pork) y El Arroz Con Gandules (Rice with Pigeon Peas... My Grandchildren loved there Chicken... And OMG the Fried Cheese Que RiRRRICO.. I also order there Platter that has so Much Great food for you to try and everything Perfectly Made..

Let me start by saying I used to love coming here, the food and service was amazing. Now I haven’t wanted to come here for the last 2 years as the food started slacking and then the service became worse and worse. Last week, I let my family convince me to give Mina’s a try again. And wow, was I surprised at how TERRIBLE the service was. I called in an order and they forgot to put it in, but even better than that instead of saying something the one person behind the counter didn’t even bother to look for my order and ignored me. Then the other girl asked if I was being helped 5 minutes later and told me they never put in the order. I didn’t get any food. They don’t seem to care at all. I will never be coming back here again.

Love the pernil and mofungo! I’ve ordered many times and it’s delicious, but had an issue with an order once. I contacted the restaurant to let them know and the owner/manager promptly responded, so appreciative that I brought it to their attention that he remedied it right away! Great food and wonderful customer service! Definitely recommend!

I go here because I do like the food but the attitude usually frustrates me and I stop going. I placed an order yesterday over the phone, waited 45 mins (because they are slow)to go pick it up and they never made the food. They told me it would be another 5 mins because it was busy meanwhile the place was quiet and not 1 other person there, 15 mins later it was being bagged and they forgot one of the entrees so I had to wait again. Waited 20 mins after placing an order over the phone and they didn’t even so much offer me a drink or apology while I sat there.

Id rate it 0 stars if i could. This place is a complete joke i called to place an order on the phone the girl answers and says hold on comes back at least 5 minutes later then takes my order. When i finally go to eat it i recieved some garbage beef instead of the carne asada i had ordered which had no flavor what so ever same with the rice and beans. Empanada was trash as well this place should be closed

Found this hidden treasure through google search. Our server was Samantha. Such a sweetheart and very attentive. I loved how she is able to memorize all the orders without using a pad! The food was delicious! Great portions! Clean ambient and great music in the background!! You must try the desserts!! Flan de coco, regular flan, cheesecake. Our food was Great! Ceviche de camarones, arroz con gandules con pollo al horno. Habichuelas guisada, tostones, bacalaito con arroz Blanco! All the plates were delicious! I highly recommend this place. Again it's definitely a hidden treasure in Monroe, NY. Will definitely come back!
