Upon arrival the lady asked me if I would like a combo; to which I told her no. She continued to fix my food and check me out. My total was $11.58. I was confused by this but I paid and walked away. I read my receipt and saw that she had charged me for the combo. Specifically, “Baked Ziti Combo”. However, I have not received a drink nor a side. Obviously this is a mistake, so I went to the counter to address the issue. It was very apparent the worker was not interested in my problem or resolving it. She continued to be defensive and said that because I ordered a meatball on top it was the same thing as getting a combo; almost a five dollar difference. I am a seventeen year old and I was taught more respect than what I was given by her. I kindly asked why I was charged for the combo when I had neither a side nor drink and she continued to dodge her mistake. She then handed me 20 cents, and said that a combo was only 20¢ difference. I was charged $11.58 for a $7 item. Later I came back to the counter and kindly asked the manager if she could help me understand. She responded with an attitude and in an angry manner said “We do not have a meatball button and they cost $4”. Then she asked for my receipt, to which she snatched and started typing on the computer. The other worker asked if she was giving and refund and she said, “No, i’m going to give her a dollar and that will be it”. Eventually she handed me $2, whereas she still has not given me an explanation to my problem. If she was so sure that it was okay to charge someone for a combo that got neither a side nor drink then why could she not have explained that to me without an attitude and obvious anger. If these are the kind of people you have representing your establishment, I highly recommend you make a change. As a seventeen year old I have more maturity than your working staff. I did not get the names of these people. A blonde woman was the manager and there was another younger, brunette lady that took my order.
