Chinese Express

Wow, really impressed. Got delivery on a Friday night and food arrived piping hot and hit the spot. Lots of extra care in packaging my egg drop soup (it was still very hot!) my dishes also had a LOT of sauces required which were all carefully prepared and accounted for with extra. I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice, egg drop soup, pork wontons, and fried dumplings. Nice portions and quality for the price. Really hit the spot! My new go to chinese food.

Updated-hadthe chicken wings. They are really good and stayed crisp after a half hour in the car! Original-Got take out of two combos, it was very tasty and well priced. I will come back again for sure! I left atmosphere blank because the place is pretty basic, not somewhere you would linger. Service was fast, and I got everything I ordered.

My new go to Chinese restaurant! Came here for the first time today and I am soooo glad I did! The food is sooooo delicious and inexpensive! I ordered the hot and sour soup, rice, steamed dumplings, and shrimp egg roll and everything was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were relatively large and the price for everything was under $15! Plus my order was ready in under 15 minutes of placing it and the food was still hot and tasted fresh. It doesn’t get any better than that. The only con is the location. It’s located on Lake St in an area tha doesn’t seem like the safest. However, I LOVE that they have a drive thru! So much easier that you don’t have to get out of your car. I would highly recommend this place!

FINALLY! Good Chinese in Minneapolis. I had the orange chicken, it is lightly spicy with a mild orange flavor slivers of orange peel throughout, steamed broccoli, plenty of sauce and the chicken stays nice and crispy. I have tried almost a dozen Chinese restraunts at various price points and this one has been the best American Chinese place by far! The prices are fair and portions size is great. I used the drive through which was very fast but they also have indoor dining and delivery.

I would give a 5-star but the reason is that they don’t talk much. In other word, customer service requires being friendly. I understand not everyone is same and also, once it come to business like that, Chinese people usually don’t talk much but doesn’t mean they mean. It just they way they are and once u know them or culture, you’ll get it more. I love this place but 4 star cuz don’t don’t talk much and do much smiley face
