Nice, kicked-back atmosphere. Strong drinks and good conversation. Pool table is always busy. Also an outdoor area to smoke that has heated lamps.

If you like a dark bar this is the place! Good prices, a fully stocked bar, and an open-late kitchen. Pool tables in the back, too. This was my first time back in 20 years and it's the same great place it always was.

I lived 2 blocks away almost 30 years ago. Came back... Ordered a Greyhound. Biggest strongest drink I've ever had outside the house. And it was only $6 I think. Very pleased. Old stomping grounds still rocks.

Good food ... Tacos were bomb..staff was attentive.. people were friendly..I just stopped in for a beer it was a good time.. Not like back in the day packed and craziness.. 20 years later now this place is more my speed just a good ole dive bar..

Brother was visiting from out of state, got together with my cousin and a few friends. Played Buck Hunter and Pool. Service was excellent and the wings were fantastic.

Not a lot of bars I have a longer relationship with. The prices have ticked up (but only a little), the old cd jukebox is long gone, but it’s still hard for me not to compare every other neighborhood bar I ever go to to this classic. It set the bar high long ago and it continues to be the standard

Gets a bad rep but honestly one of my favorite bars in Minneapolis. Only place within a mile of my apartment that has pool tables. Lots of very friendly staff who are good at their job and remember your order when you walk in. Don’t go on a Friday/Saturday night if you’re claustrophobic - ideal time is Wednesday evening

Idk what I was expecting from this place, but I must say, I was pleasantly surprised!
The food was above average for a bar setting. Atmosphere was very much bar (duh 😂). And it’s quite a cozy place! Lots of different kinds of people, if you like to people watch 👀. Pool tables in the back left corner. There’s a year round area in the backyard. Menu was decent. Definitely a jumping place any day of the week! Best part is that food doesn’t stop until 12:30-1:30 (they said it depends.. idk 🤷🏻♀️)

Wanted to come here cause The Replacements hung out here! Very cool divey spot. A part of music history! Everyone was nice enough and the beer is relatively cheap!
