Max's Cafe

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Everyone working here is super friendly and the coffee is delicious. It's convenient to get to through the skyway and the prices make it feel like a guilty pleasure without the guilt! I'd definitely recommend the croissants and breakfast sandwiches if you're hungry. If not, just enjoy the perfectly rich coffee and personable customer service.

I love the people at Max's. Breakfast - Great coffee and bakery items to get your day started. Lunch - The soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps are all amazing, fresh and priced right. I highly suggest the Thai Chicken Wrap for a healthy lunch. I also tried the new Banh MI sandwich today, it was the perfect amount of spice and flavor.

I eat breakfast here pretty regularly, and will sometimes have coffee if I didn't bring my own from home. Everything I've tried here has been very good, but my favorite things are the breakfast burrito (jalapeno cream cheese) and the sausage egg and cheese breakfast panini (get it work pepperjack!). The staff is awesome, and a big part of why I like to come back regularly.

This is one of my favorite skyway lunch spots. The prices are unbeatable and the diversity of food is great. Breakfast burrito, pulled pork quesadilla, Cuban panini are my favorites. I must say this is the best breakfast burrito in town. Max and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. Keep up the great work.

One of my "go-to" spots for lunch when I am downtown at work. Max is a gentleman, and his staff are some of the genuinely nicest, and most helpful folks you could ever want waiting on you. It's more of a coffeehouse-type of place, with the prices being on par with a downtown eatery. He has enough options to satisfy mostly anyone's tastes. and substitutions are not an issue. I usually lean towards the sandwiches, but the salads are also very popular. Support your local merchants!!!

I have to say I don't review a lot of places unless they really tick me off but I have to tell Max's how much I love them. I come in once in a while because I work in a building that's pretty much end of the line for the skyway and they're the closest thing around for a coffee or a quick bite. The service is always super friendly, they have had the same people working there since I started frequenting them about 3 years ago, so they kind of know everyone who goes there a lot. One time, I went down to grab a muffin and forgot to bring my debit card and they even let me just have it and I promised to come back to pay for it the next day. You don't get service like this just anywhere. The food is always great; I've never been disappointed by any coffee drink, sandwich, salad or baked good. I stopped in today and got a blueberry muffin for my mother in law who has a multitude of health problems and they're one of the few foods she can eat and keep down, grabbed a pumpkin muffin with cream cheese frosting for myself and they're still friggin warm! So tasty! And they usually have some fun seasonal items, which is nice.

Lunch was brought to our work through a teach and talk....I had a Caesar salad wrap, I am telling you now it is THE BEST caesar wrap I have EVER eaten!!! It is a wrap I order at different places going out to eat and this one from Max's is hands down the best. Can't wait to eat one again! Everyone else who was eating kept raving about their food too. Must try if you haven't been.
