Jimmy John's

This is the best Jimmy John's in downtown Minneapolis. The managers, Danika and "T", obviously take pride in their store and run it with the perfect mix of efficiency and excellence. Some other standout employees include Jeff and Shaleese, who always welcome you with a friendly hello and are super upbeat and friendly while they make your sandwich of choice to perfection. The store is always bright and clean, even though there's sometimes a line out the door at lunch time. And when it is super busy, the wait never takes as long as you would expect by judging the line. It is a reliable place to go on lunch break if you are crunched for time but don't want to settle for the typical fast-food options. I have tried a pretty large variety of the different sandwiches on the menu and the quality of the sandwiches is always on point, while still living up to their motto of "freaky fast". I have only dined in here, but this store also offers catering and deliveries.

I've ordered 2 Italian subs from here and they were both pretty pretty good. I just ordered the second one, a #5 Vito. I asked how long it would take for them to deliver it. The young man said about 10 minutes. I thought yeah right. I got the sub in about 10 minutes. I was impressed. The 2nd sub was kind of skimpy but both were very tasty...fresh ingredients and quality meats. The seasoning is the best. It's really good and not so oily where it's dripping all over the place. The bread is out of this world good. It's really very flavorful. Its different from any other hogie bread I've ever eaten. Delivery service was friendly both times. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
