Revival

I was told to try this restaurant. I found it to be good. The service we received was top notch. I got the sense our waitress was invested in this restaurant. She took the time to explain the offerings and our options. The food was good. We had the recommended fried chicken. In addition, the greens with pork shoulder, and their Mac and cheese. All good meals. I will go back.

I went for the famous chicken and waffles favorite... the waffle had a bit of cheese on it that goes really good with the sweetness. It's crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The chicken was perfectly cooked, really nice crusting, moist and juicy and spicy. It's served with buttler and maple sirup on the side and pickles. So, a little butter on the waffle, pouring the maple sirup over the chicken and having a bit of every component, made the perfect bite. The service was very good. Every girl from the staff was nice and kind. The mocktail was really good. Refreshing and full of flavor.

Fried chicken - NO WORDS! The deep fried ribs were a flazor experience unlike any other! From the front door, through the menu selections, the staff was simply phenomenal. We happened to pass Revival on the way to Paisley Park and decided we would stopn in for dinner on the way back. Best luck EVER! As a Southerner the fried chicken got my stamp of approval!

As a native South Carolinian and new Minnesota transplant, I've started to grow hopeless that I'd even find real BBQ (pork shoulder/butt). Not only was the pig done well, the SC sauce was mustard based and pretty decent. Beyond the food, the wait staff, while handling a heavy load were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout the meal Overall, it's a great restaurant and the closest to southern BBQ I've yet seen in the cities.

Me and my boyfriend came in from out of town and absolutely loved our experience. By far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too! I got the burnt ends with cornbread and a side of beans. The corn bread also came with a honey butter and I would rather everything on my plate a 10/10. My boyfriend got the Brisket plate with a side of Mac and cheese and I have to say the Mac and cheese was the best thing I’ve ever tasted. The service was amazing, super chill and comfortable. We sat outside on the patio and the atmosphere was pretty cool and relaxed. Overall I would totally recommend this restaurant!!
