Denny's

I like this location to a certain extent. The food is fresh and absolutely hot. There is not that long of a wait at all. You're seated right away even if they're busy, which is a plus a much appreciated. Also, anything you eat there is filling so you will get your money worth. I took a star off because sometimes, the customer service can use a little improvement. Just a little bit. Other than that, it is a good place to eat.

I am a 40 year long time customer of Denny's all around the country and, I love Denny's menu and seasonal entrees. This unplanned late lunch turned out wonderful! I was greeted by a smiling, positive young lady who seated and gave me a menu. She made pleasant conversation asking if she could get me anything to drink while I looked at the menu. She brought my water request straight away. I wasn't ready to order right then, so she returned a few minutes later. I ordered one of my favorites, a build your own burger with one of the current specials to upgrade to the beer batter onion rings. I must say it was delicious! Grilled to perfection sesame bun, fresh red tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, grilled onions and cheddar cheese on the perfectly cooked burger. And, I am really glad that I tried her suggestion of the addition of Bourbon sauce! The entire restaurant and tables were clean. Including all of of the condiment bottles on the tray! Upbeat music in the background made this late lunch a great experience after a long day. Laronda the Mgr came by to make sure that everything I ordered was as expected and I happily told her that indeed, everything was fantastic! The staff made my experience this afternoon at this Denny's wonderful and the owners of the restaurant aught to know. I can't wait to return for the seasonal turkey specials that Laronda told me are definitely arriving soon! All around great service from everyone at this Brown Deer location for my unexpected stop in for a late lunch! Thank you for the great food and service as always at Denny's!

There is a claw machine by the dasher pick up tables. I put five credits on the machine because there was a stuffed animal I just had to win for my fiance. Well I clawed it up with the first credit. I was tickled pink. Lol There was a man that seen I won, "first try he asked" I replied yes, and said give the remaining credits to some kids that were there. So he says to me, follow me to my car I have something for you. Here's what he gave me. Ty who ever you are. Also here is a pic of the unicorn I won for my love.

There are only three people working but I feel they care to get to everyone. The lady that took my order had an approachable demeanor. She was still smiling even tho she is short staff. She looks like she might be the manager. My receipt says her name is Kim. Great job to you and they other employees. I thought to do a review while I'm literally waiting on my food. I believe she the cook also. Update March 27, Sunday 10:39am Con: Don't like how my order started! Me and my boyfriend coming home from a lovely morning together. So, we in good spirits we decided to get some Denny's. Well, I walk in no one greets or say "I'll be right with you"...they were taking care customers but still...coo! So, I seat down with a menu just to go over what I want. They was in the back for minute maybe close to 10 mins (or it seemed like it 🤔). And I thought to stand up and wait at the counter to have my order taken next because people were starting to walk in....okay coo! I didn't get her name but she has bright red hair (love it actually 😍) but she comes from the back and this dude just walked in (a couple minutes before she came to the front) and she goes to him first and ignore me...I felt like she saw me walk in when I did so instead of asking "who was next?" I Interrupt to say "excuse me excuse me! I was next." And she said "okay (with these stank-face facial expression that wasn't called for)" 🤔 I mean I'm next right?🤔 I didn't say it with an attitude maybe she didn't like when I interrupted 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't know all I know is that I was next 😅🤷🏻‍♀️ she will definitely need a refresher on her customer service skills. 👎 Pro: Other than that; the food was accurate and hot. All the condiments forks, and lil nick nacks you'd need was there. I didn't have to ask 👍
