My second time to come and eat here. First time when they first open. i came here for lunch with a friend and waited for the food for almost 45 mins. we ordered the famous max chicken with fries, kare kare with a cup of rice. 30 minutes later, the waiter came back and informed us that they don’t have fries and asked if they can substitute with lumpia shanghai. i said it’s ok. 45 mins later the food came out and it was delivered to another table beside us. finally the waiter realized that it was the wrong table and gave us our order. to my surprise, the food was cold. the chicken was very dry, like eating a twig. the kare kare meat was old and tough and black and very cold. it was a very different experience from my first time eating here. the restaurant was terrible, dirty chairs and tables are worn out. we did not finished the food and the waiter told us to take it to go but we declined, but he insisted to take it to go or else they will sell it to another customer later.

I have my private party here at Max Restaurant and its the best, the staff, the food the decoration is A+++

They closed the Restaurant for 3 hrs for private party cause I have 80 guest. And everyone enjoy and had so much fan. Thank you Max's Restaurant.

Bad service and food is not fresh. Chicken is so dry.
Server or receptionist is almost yelling just to take my order. I told him to stop and be patient as I am not familiar with their menu. I am just passing by and decided to try it.

Take it from me: you don't have to be Filipino to enjoy Filipino cuisine! If you're looking for seafood options you should pick up one of the milkfish, or bangus, options they serve. For fans of spice, try the sisig.
The wait staff is the reason this establishment gets 4 stars instead of 5. They tend to rush and can be offputting. The food is still worth it. Prepare to wait for a long time around dinner hours.

I am disappointed with the bland service and robotic encounter with servers in this restaurant. They appear tired, uncaring and unhappy. Customer service is definitely not a priority in this place neither do they want customers to come back.

We came in at 7:30, an hour before they closed. The servers welcomed us in and we didn’t feel rushed at all. The food was great and we were out by closing time. Super nice people that work there and great food!!

A classic Filipino restaurant, though a bit on the pricey side. My family's favorite, must-order dishes are the fried chicken, crab fried rice, crispy beef tadyang, bangus sisig, and one of the soups like sinigang and nilagang baka.

Delicious! We try to go home to the Philippines at least every 2 years, but on the occasions when we cant make it, we love coming to the restaurantsike Max's to enjoy the taste of home! The service here was great and the food was absolutely delicious!
