We went to the special Curry Night and it was such a great evening! The food was amazing and we even got seconds brought out for us. It was a deal for £30 which included the food and unlimited drinks for 2 hours. We had delicious cocktails, wine, gin and more. Brilliant, attentive and positive staff, great atmosphere and amazing food. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for the great night!

Lovely welcoming restaurant with a nice calm atmosphere.
The restaurant was full and there was a Hen party in full swing. All the staff worked tirelessly to attend to everyone. Food was excellent and at no point did we feel rushed. Definitely a return visit is required

Buzzing in the bar downstairs and a lot quieter in the restaurant upstairs. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, very welcoming, feels like it is family run. Food is really nice, cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

We have just enjoyed an excellent meal at this restaurant. The food was all cooked fresh for us, there were four of us, and the service was friendly, informative and offered by all staff. The surroundings are modern but comfortable. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Was holidaying in Millom and didn't plan to go anywhere in particular, stumbled across this place by chance. Was served with drinks straight away and when we enquired about food we were told an hours wait. we decided to just have our drinks there and move on, just before leaving we were offered a table for food and a shorter wait time. We accepted happily and were made to feel at home. The food was gorgeous and the layout was too! Prices were great and we couldn't have been happier. Thank you very much to the staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas set menu, all three courses excellent and the mince pies were fab. Apparently the veggie options were good too. Could use some real ales on tap. Good value for money. The decor is nice and the amenities are clean. There is a lift to the upstairs toilets and dining area. Good location and the bar has a good selection.

We hit the town for lake district and very hard to find a decent place. We came following the other reviewers advice to find lovely staff, welcoming manager, nice atmosphere and historic venue. We received great and quick service and best part was the food. Both of us ordered 8oz rump and different sauces, meat quality was near perfect and cooked to our likings spot on. (Attached couple of venue and food pictures). Prices are reasonable. We would recommend this place and the bar downstairs to anyone wonders into this town or to have a special dinner, evening.
