Hotel Terrace

Today was the first day Hotel Terrace "Ruthie's" has reopened since it first closed months ago due to covid. Allan And I were the first customers to arrive! The food was just as delicious as we remembered. So happy they are open again. Since there are no other diners around this tri-town area anymore, we will be coming here probably more than we used to, which was a lot! Highly recommend it. On top of the food being great, the staff is super duper friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and relaxing. :)

The food is outstanding. The service is impeccable. When you come here, you really feel comfortable. You don't have to dress up, but it is a really nice place. The atmosphere is really nice and comfortable. When you come here, you really feel comfortable, like home. My favorite thing off the menu is the breakfast burrito. It is a cheesy omelet with veggies, topped with salsa, and it comes with a side of sour cream, which I always like to get extra. If you haven't tried the breakfast burrito at Ruthie's, I suggest you do! *update Nov. 2019 so we went to Ruthie's for Thanksgiving, and we were glad we did! We had made a reservation. From the moment we got there to the time we left, the staff were on point! We never felt like we had to wait to long for anything. The food was served rather quickly, and it was hot and delicious! We got the Turkey dinner, but they did have a few 'Thanksgiving' dinner choices, like a ham dinner, and a seafood dinner in addition to the Turkey one. And, they even handed us a regular menu, so we could order anything we want! We went with the turkey, as pictured. The red table wine was good, and my husband had a dark beer that he enjoyed. We will definitely do Thanksgiving again here! It was inexpensive too, I think around 17$ a person for the Turkey dinnah anyway. :)

Very nice staff. Great food. Friendly atmosphere. My only complaint was that I asked for a nachos without meat and after i had to send it back because it had beef on it, it came back with the beef removed And thrown back in the oven. They should have re-made the dish. With fresh ingredients. Overall, it was still a great place for dinner that all of our guests enjoyed.

It's changed a lot since I been there last. I miss Sunday buffet. The home cooked home fries were frozen in the bag garbage. There wasn't any home cooking there. We had to ask for coffee refill/warmer. No one asked how our meal was. It was very loud causing it difficult for the waitress to even hear us.. I almost want to say I hate it but, would like to hope it was all in our timing. Good Luck
