Fryborg

My friend and I were talking about going here because he lives down the street from here, we work down the street from here, and I've been to their food truck and thought it was awesome. Unfortunately, not the same experience today. The gentleman that waited on us was rude, had a large beard with no beard net, and wasn't wearing a mask upon us entering the store. He felt the need to let my friend know rudely that he needed to keep his shirt above his nose because it's CT state law. After waiting for our food and receiving it, I stated thank you to absolutely no response. I got to my friend's house to eat because we had a job to do 20 minutes later. I ordered cheesy fries with bacon, received no bacon on my fries but paid for it (I have pictures of the fries and receipt to prove it). Cheese on the fries wasn't hot and neither were the fries. Burger was juicy and good, I'll give that. But I feel like I was robbed for a great experience. I will not be spending money there again especially that I spent money for one thing and didn't get it in its entirety.

**update** I have to change my original review to amend. I ordered the same buttermilk chicken sandwich with extra pickles January 31st and I will be attaching the pictures today as the chicken was DANGEROUSLY Raw inside. Sadly I was already eating it when we noticed. Pain started around 10 p.m. and all morning vomiting and diarrhea since 3 p.m. Severe pain in lower quadrant of abdomen. This is not ok ! Last night (January 29th) was the second time we've ordered from fryborg. My first time ordering there I ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich same as I did last night. The brioche bun was delicious with a perfect texture. The chicken was very moist and seasoned nicely. I would have given 5 stars but they forgot to put the extra pickles on my chicken sandwich and forgot to put pickles at all. We also ordered the garlic cheese curds,1 Belgian waffle and chili cheese fries small with bacon.

My wife and I stopped here on a whim because we love fries. The menu is generous enough to offer plenty of options but not too crazy. I got the chicken sandwich, which was flavorful and crunchy outside and juicy inside. She got the cheesesteak (with fries in it, genius!) and was very happy! As someone from Philly, it needs to be good to get the thumbs up from her. The fries were crunchy and perfect with lots of dipping options. The man who served me was very friendly and they even have Hank sodas, which are my favorite. We are excited to eat here again in the future!

For this to be my first time coming to this place that was highly recommended by friends I was really disappointed about the so called hand cut frys the where like Little Rock’s that how hard they were I really can’t believe I wasted my time on this place but not all bad the chicken sandwich was not that bad it could have been a little more fresh but I’m not to sure is I will be good back sometime the small thing make the difference yes something small as frys and putting the sauce in the bag like I asked
