Not what I anticipated if iam honest.. very dirty plus the bed room is facing a busy main road. Shared bathroom which was not very big

This is a great canalside pub. Friendly staff, great beer, food and accommodation if you need to stop off before starting on a canal journey with the nearby Andersens boatyard. Food served until 6pm. Website suggests breakfast available, but sadly not when we visited. Dog friendly, offered treats when we entered.
Clean and well maintained, interesting pictures and history.
Will definitely visit if in the area again.

Food ok ordered the meals in writing ,everyone ones choice starters,main meal,and sweet 8 days before the date and informed on the night some starters,main meals,and sweet could not be served because they didn't have it in ,so some had to reorder and they got that wrong, food comming in that had not been ordered and one person had not received the main meal when the sweet had been served it was to say a bit chaotic ,same with the drinks order wrong drink or no drink
