Nitty Gritty

We got carryout and most of the food tasted good, even if they mixed up requests on burger toppings etc. However one of my daughters kids meal sliders was way undercooked and the other one was barely cooked enough for safety. A kids meal. No way to send it back obviously. Inspect your kids food before letting them eat it.

I was there to get a bite to eat with an adult friend, not for a birthday party. So admitedly maybe a misfit. The last time I paid more than $16 for just a hamburger was at an upscale golf course in San Diego. Seems a little pricey to me but then we do have a bunch of inflation going on. The service was great and the food was good. It was a party atmosphere and therefore difficult to carry on a conversation.

I decided to go here on my birthday because it's a birthday place, and they made me feel special! I got a balloon and a mug to keep and I could drink whatever I wanted out of it for free (I chose Stella Artois Cidre). They also gave me a free mini sundae at the end of my meal and a punch card for a free one every month through the year. The food was also delicious (cheese curds and chicken, bacon, ranch wrap with chips). I think 4 different employees told me "happy birthday" while I was there! They also had many tvs with sports on. I had a good birthday dinner!
