had parmo salt and pepper chips 10/10 all the time our lass had rodeo burger chips not forgetting my tub of garlic sauce got a takeaway carton for some to of the food to take home recommend all the time

Our new go to place for food and drink on a match day! Used to always go to Lloyds but now it’s closed we needed a new venue! It’s always busy on a match day so need to get down quite early but usually manage to get a table now!
Food is always spot on, proper pub grub which always does the trick! The chips are amazing from there, proper home style and plenty of usual favourites to choose from!
Drinks are pretty much the usual price for these days but the staff always seem to be quite nice and happy to serve! Can’t really speak about other days than match day but seems to be a good atmosphere and I’ve heard the dinners on Sunday are meant to be really good too!

We went for the cavery Sunday Dinner, there was a choice of beef, turkey, pork and Gammon, all the veg was fresh, beautiful gravy, staff were friendly, excellent value, definitely be going again

Very friendly local, with terrific food ( giant Yorkshire with mash and mince was ace.) Music/karaoke on the Friday was busy with a terrific variety of styles catered for. Drinks and food were competively priced. Staff were friendly, efficient ( especially Friday night) and helpful. I'd not been here for 4 years but will be back.

Visiting from Leicester made to feel so welcome. Bar staff really friendly chatted to locals as if they were old friends. Food really good had a wonderful omelette and chips and salad left an empty plate.The serving at the bar was excellent a great system of serving from one place meant no pushing round other drinkers.Would suit anybody as a local.Great place.
